17/12/2019 14:52 | "Infighting has broken out in Labour before a leadership contest is even properly underway, after Caroline Flint (see above) accused the party’s foreign affairs spokeswoman, Emily Thornberry, of calling voters “stupid.” Maybe this will jacko!!!! Priceless Liebour infighting. Pass the popcorn please. | ![]() crossing_the_rubicon
17/12/2019 14:23 | One thing for sure is the Tory landslide hasn't stopped the resident whiners to cease their Tory bashing. Bargain bellend who worships at the feet of Wee Jimmy Sturgeon intent on making Scotland the new Venezuala and Minerve who has made whining a 24 hour a day occupation since 17.4 million wise folk threw in their membership of the biggest Ponzi scheme in modern history!! WTF is a whining SNP loving 'sweaty sock' and a very confused Woodford loving lefty doing on this bank thread. Two very sad little trollers, most probably claiming welfare. | ![]() jacko07

17/12/2019 14:10 | There is no reason why a decent FTA isnt doing by Dec 2020 because UK is 100% regulatory compliant. All that needs to be negotiated is the speed with which the 90% of UK economy that doesn't trade with the EU (but is domestic or ROTW focused) diverges. | ![]() crossing_the_rubicon
17/12/2019 14:09 | Spot on Graham. If only we'd of had a leaver in charge, with a Leave cabinet from the off. Tories on borrowed time if they screw it up again. | ![]() crossing_the_rubicon

17/12/2019 14:01 | The boris bubble lasted less than a week , how many who moved from Labour to Tory thought about workers rights being binned. They really are chimps . | ![]() bargainbob
17/12/2019 13:58 | The ONLY reason these things have taken so long in the past is that both sets of "negotiators" wanted to see how many £100 lunches they could get out of it. | ![]() grahamite2
17/12/2019 13:55 | Good find, Poikka. Of course it's possible to do a deal in this timeframe! Light a fire under the Euros and they respond. | ![]() grahamite2

17/12/2019 13:52 | A touch of back-pedalling, or hedging your bets. BBC "First Vice-President of the European Parliament Mairead McGuinness says it is "possible" for the UK to strike a trade deal with the EU by this deadline but "we’re all a bit cautious about whether it can effectively be completed within an 11-month period."" | ![]() poikka
17/12/2019 13:51 | Well would be laughable only for my amazing empathy .. | sentimentrules
17/12/2019 13:48 | Can I ask you all something? I've had a look at most of your posts history. I can only suggest the grasp of markets is woeful. Not great grasp on UK economy . Never mind the world. Most here suffering in markets Yet here you all year after year, making suggestions about what the UK should do, and the EU It's a bit laughable | sentimentrules
17/12/2019 13:48 | We're only chimps Alp. What do you expect? | ![]() maxk
17/12/2019 13:47 | Who is playing the silly games? ROFLMAO | ![]() alphorn
17/12/2019 13:45 | Yes, the deadline is needed, Alphorn. It is saying loud and clear to the Euros (and their electorates) that we've had enough of their silly games; and it is telling them there are no traitors in the UK for them to use as fifth columnists any more, so they needn't bother trying. | ![]() grahamite2
17/12/2019 13:34 | PC - some truth in that. | ![]() alphorn
17/12/2019 13:34 | ps, Oh, also the danger of the EU collapsing under the weight of it's debt without the UK supporting it...there is that. | mitchy
17/12/2019 13:30 | Any road up getting back to ramping....errr...er Probably due to the exodus from overcrowded London. I 'feel' the overall effect accumulated nation wide is a roughly balanced picture of value. So not overly concerned about values in the capital. The ppi's are a thorn we could do without and the threat ( even a small one) of a No Deal isn't ideal mainly because the market doesn't want to see it. Personally I see a No Deal exit would involve two years grace where everything would stay the same whilst a deal is formulated . A deal that we can negotiate from a position of strength. There is no reason why we couldn't simply continue to follow EU standards in manufacturing. The EU don't want to make it more difficult for us to buy BMW's. Medical and scientific research can also continue collaboration as they always have even before the EU. We would get our fisheries back and stop the bleeding of £400,000,00 each week. Win Win. How the banking sector with it's finger in the exchange of Euro's etc cookie jar will be effected isn't something I know to much about. Perhaps smartypants can enlighten us as he seems to be all knowing. On second thoughts....hhmm | mitchy
17/12/2019 13:29 | G2 - set up a deadline that you did not need. Great strategy. You and max are not the sharpest tools in the box today. | ![]() alphorn |
