Not a chartist Bob, but wouldn't be surprised to see a retrace on basis that nothing goes up in a straight line. Some brokers have lowered their forecasts recently according to HL but little recent comment so could be out of date. Results due 4th March. Hoping worst behind now so happy to build up in ISA.

Not enough money in it.

By the time you deduct real term inflation its practically a loss on a flattish stock. For me, capital value is key - div just an unnoticed bonus

I probably make in a day what income investors chase in a year

Better than a nursing home stock !

gnr "Jess Phillips will be best at the dispatch box!" Without wishing to offend anyone from the Midlands, listening to the likes of Noddy Holder and Timothy Spall their brummie accents have usually complemented their various entertainment roles. Not sure the same will apply if it comes to hostile exchanges across the floor of the House, could be wrong though lol.

Sentiment: How's the short going lol?

The sheer, unbridled nonsense of the EU's "trade deals" - debunked99% of UK economy will be unaffected by the EU's "trade deals" after BrexitAnd most of the remaining 1% will continue much as usualUsing official government data, Brexit Facts4EU.Org debunks the continuing Project Fear claims from Remainers about the value of the EU's "trade deals".

LADESIDE..Corbyn is a Marxist not a soft socialist, he is an admirer of Venezuala whose rulers, Generals and elites and their families have stolen billions of dollars. From Chavez to the Maduro, Jeremy identifies with all of them. Anyway, Corbyn is now toast and good bloody riddance!

Chávez declared an "economic war" due to increasing shortages in Venezuela. The crisis intensified under the even more corrupt Maduro government, growing more severe as a result of lower oil prices in early 2015, and a drop in Venezuela's oil production from lack of maintenance and investment.

Inflation is in the millions of percent and all that oil. Hope that your St Nicola and her far left ideals and Scotland's reliance on oil doesn't create anything even remotely similar to Venezuala.

bobGood times ahead for market. I was expecting it but when comes to Lloyds I sold at 58p something and was when BBC was full of sh#t about Brexit. I was expecting to go down...nevermind. Some big gaps on charts so I will have my chance to reinvest on Lloyds around 58p.

you "sell half boys" are spot on!

30 years ago a very successful trader told me that if you stick to this you will be a multi millionaire.

Well I didnt stick to it...but when I did the sums ..yes I would have been a multi millionaire by now.

The truth is always simple and avoided like the plague.

That is pretty rich Alphorn considering that you pretend to filter people you disagree with!

Freddie - your waffly reply 'It will take whatever time it takes' is no surprise.

Be brave once, if you can, and take a view. There are almost no posters here who stick their necks out. A wafflers paradise; entertainment only.
