Of course if the Scots get a new referendum. .

Then it won't be very long before a new EU ref follows.

no you are right.,maxk,.but if we all dont engage with them...switch off the media and wait...they'll go away..anyway, while they are twittering on about Brexit and the EU....and they will fail..they cannot be doing anything worse..It will keep them happy and well out of the way.

and it gives something for Gina Miller to do

Nigel predicted that if Boris won we would be very quickly back in the EU

the difference is the majority Boris has, plus the total political and economic crisis in Europe

The EU and the USA will be fighting to
give us the best deal....before the end of 2020 no delays ..going back in just aint gonna happen.

I live in north wales. Much condemnation of the welsh assembly and its failure to deal with NHS, transport education. Election result speaks volumes
Many Scots around here who are unhappy with SNP dictates and SNP failure to manage the country.
I wish that the SNP accepts that they are part of UK and that their MPs voice their opinions in Westminster.
Should the SNP behave like SF in NI and dont sit in Westminster then that would b a welcomed decision.
Nothing but negativity from WeeB or that IB mouth.

I am Scottish and i have to say the SNP disgust me with their divisive...Scottish nationalism, and their talk of "westminster' this and 'Westminster' that.

They have a parliament and tax raising powers, the have control of the NHS and Education along with many other important functions of government.

And they are doing it very badly...all they care about is 'being out from under the English boot'.

They don't really give toss about anything except Indy

"Two nations, not one. That is the single most significant finding from this election. Two nations whose political paths are diverging and who are, more and more, becoming strangers to one another and between whom there is little, and increasingly less, sympathy."

Saves money - a side issue
A vote in HOC should be representative of a similar electorate.
Never 10 votes for small lab constituencies against 5 much larger Tory ones.

Less MPs saves money too. They have been found wanting. See how things pan out. But important to have honest Democracy.

Thinking Lloyd maybe a bit more positive now. Depends more on Lloyd now rather than outside events.Think a good deal with USA more positive again.

Remember Clegg blocked the revision to the constituencies proposed because he - Liblot might lose out -
I am sure the matter will be addressed so that constituency representation is evened out.
Guessing - but c 20+ labour constituencies would dissppear.

Fair representation and unfair representation. Some things need to change to represent an honest Democracy.Constituencies in the UKThere are currently:533 constituencies in England59 in Scotland40 in Wales18 in Northern Ireland.Size of constituencies by electorateThe number of people able to vote (the electorate) differs by constituency. The Office for National Statistics gives the average electorate across constituencies of about:72,200 in England67,200 in Scotland68,300 in Northern Ireland56,000 in Wales

Boris's best trait is his ability to listen and delegate! It is quite rare to find an egocentric with that quality! Takes note of his advisers and praises where it's due!
Monday will tell us who's in, and who's out! He'll announce it with a scampish grin, point forward and say GO! All those remarks about letterbox's etc I'm sure were not meant to defame any religion, especially not that one, because it's in his lineage!
His honeymoon period will last for awhile, after which we can wish him an Andrew Neil interview, if he does not perform!
