"A Greenpeace activist says Mark Field's actions were 'over the top'."

Oh right, but twice stopping an oil rig in the North Sea isn't OTT?

Gate crashing the MH event isn't OTT?

At the least, she could have been going to spray paint over the gathering - the sort of thing they do.

"she did not intend to complain to the police."

Maybe the suspended MP should complain about her behaviour.

Shy Tott, I suspect the likes of careful have by now managed to convince themselves that their fantasies are true.

But for those who remain grounded in the real world it's good to be reminded just how simple and straightforward the question was. Remain or leave - that's it.

Why are the police concentrating on investingting mark field and apparently letting the perpetrators off scott free?.

Under very slightly different circumstances which were unknown at the time, field could have been a hero who saved the chancellor's life, or possible a hundreds of people's lives.

Remember, if you discover a scroat rummaging through your belongings when you arrive home, don't whack him or even exhibit displeasure - just point him to your most valuable assests and wish him well.

Careful, why do you simply make tings up, e.g. '17m voted to leave with a deal'

'17m voted for a glorious future etc'.

The referendum made no mention whatsoever of leaving with a deal, or leaving for a glorious future.

In fact, and I accept you dilsike facts and prefer to make things up as you go along, a majority voted 'leave' in response to the following question

Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?

17m voted to leave with a deal.
'the easiest deal in history', with £20bn p.a. for the NHS.
17m voted for a glorious future with great trade deals.

It has not been delivered, lets forget it.

20m say 'revoke'.

Amazing that the UK is playing such a leading role which is despite Brexit!!

Also, we don't need to be a member of the EU to continue playing a leading role as most of the companies investing in the UK in this area are American!

Stewart,

She was there to cause trouble. She was carrying a bag as she marched down the side in an effort to get to the Chancellor.

She couldve been carrying anything.

She knew what she was doing and thought she'd get away with it because she was a woman.

You cannot condone uninvited protesters breaching security to invade a private event especially in the current environment.

Even worse was the GreenPeace trawler / Eco warriors holding up BP's business operations.

Unacceptable.

If you engage expect consequences.

Why do people think that the Tories will be finished unless we leave on the 29th oct.
Boris said that, it is totally untrue.

The only way they could make it by then is to pass May's deal or something very close.
Maybe that is Boris's plan.

It was good to see that Rolls Royce and Seimens have signed an agreement to develop electric aero engines.
The eu. fast tracked research money from the eu. budget to RR. to develop this technology.

The close ties have been successful for decades.
The EU. desire to develop technology that makes it independent from America is strong.

Jaguar Land Rover has recently joined forces with BMW to develop electric power units for cars.
The executives of these companies are worried that their operations will be disrupted with a no deal Brexit.

My guess is that something will be sorted, they will carry on as before.

Pal, he, and the tories, will only be finished if we don't exit the eu in Oct. If we do, which looks likely to me, then we'll have an oaf for pm for a few years. To me, that would make a refreshing change for all his faults. At least there'll be a little fun in politics.
