Hi,

Posters here who hold shares in LLOY should be delighted. The less likely it becomes that we quit the EU the better it for shareholders.

We will also get the added benefit that our current deal as a member of the EU is far better than anything May or Corbyn could negotiate.

"Interestingly, we saw a 'large net inflow of portfolio investment into the UK', which certainly runs contrary to the perception that money is flooding out of the country ahead of Brexit," said Joshua Mahony, senior market analyst at IG"

Awkward for Remoaners...

Hey K38 what's your problem with the BBC?"

What's right with it?

Bias is outrageous on BBC's pet projects

1) EU
2) Unfettered Immigration
3) Climate Change
4) Diversity tripe.
5) Hatred of British history, traditions, culture where it is too white!

Good to hear WB - please get more people to sign up for the Leave party or whatever its name is today.

You obviously skipped the exchange of posts where G and I agreed on the possible unintended consequences.

You really are not very smart are you.

"A customs union would not simply cover tariffs and quotas. The EU would also require the UK to follow EU rules in a broad swathe of policy areas including competition policy, environmental policy and social and labour standards – without any say. This would not only be a huge loss of UK sovereignty but also dramatically narrow the UK government’s freedom of action in key economic policy areas"

This is the angle most proponents of Customs Unions either don't understand, or dont care about. It would lead to the UK beign hollowed out and what's elft of its industries being destroyed - all the while our danegeld being sucked out until we are dry.

WB - now you contradict yourself.

One minute Grieve is a bad loser - the next minute you are talking about civil unrest for bad losers(?).
Make up your mind."

How am I contradicting myself?

Grieve is a bad loser. he lost.

Civil unrest will be by "The Dispossessed Winners"
Where are the bad loers on the LEAVE side???? We won.

There will be no civil disorder or riots other than the ones arranged by that lunatic Yaxley-Lennon to serve his own fanatical ends.

Without doubt the Express and Mail letters pages will go into meltdown, and we''ll have a few headlines of "betrayed" etc but other than that it will be finished.

The bottom line is that people REALLY don't care......."

The people dont care...

You'll be in for a rude awakening then!

Most conservative politicians seem to prefer to their own version of denial. Can't see any real impact for change. Bring on a GE. (Sadly) We need better folk than this lot.

We can build enough cars in UK. Jaguars and Landrovers, Aston Martin, Mini (now owned by BMW) still built in UK etc.

We make the wings for Airbus. That is UK IP and UK experience.

We also have a very successful pharmaceuticals business.

We can supply a lot more of our own consumption if we try to.

In any case the world is changing. Electric cars require a lot less manpower to make and if we do not take charge of our own destiny, we will be buying all our cars from abroad.

At least until our credit with the rest of the world runs out."

Violence and riots only cause damage to our own society. Once you take the genie out of the bottle it is very difficult/impossible to put it back in again. Never 'dirty your own nest'

WHO MENTIONED VIOLENCE AND RIOTS ?

Democracy means waiting for the next GE

BY THAT TIME WILL BE NO DEMOCRACY OR COUNTRY TO PROTECT.

Democracy means waiting for the next GE when we can form a legitimate government to get us COMPLETELY OUT of the EU cancer.

Acting like a rabble will only damage the Leave cause. We will all be called extremists and then the overwhelming peaceful majority of Leave voters will just give up.
