As I do live by food, I met a fool,
Who laid him down and basked him in the sun,
And railed on Lady Fortune in good terms,
In good set terms, and yet a motley fool.
'Good morrow, fool,' quoth I. 'No, sir,' quoth he,
'Call me not fool till heaven hath sent me fortune.'
And then he drew a dial from his poke,
And looking on it with lack-lustre eye
Says very wisely 'It is ten o'clock.'
'Thus we may see', quoth he, 'how the world wags.
'Tis but an hour ago since it was nine,
And after one hour more 'twill be eleven.
And so from hour to hour we ripe and ripe,
And then from hour to hour we rot and rot;
And thereby hangs a tale.'

He can tackle, play a holding role, play wide and cross. He can pass short, quick, delay, long.

He can run with the ball, muscle defenders off, create and score.

He's just awesome. The best in the world.

It's OK abix let them mock, for we are the superior race when it comes to footy knowledge. If the world didn't have people like rigel it would be a world without sorrow and pity ;)

Yes Morgan has not done himself too many favours with those comments, sounds like there lots going on that we aren't privy too.

Who cares eh, Owen is staying, Gerrard is the best midfielder of his kind, we're in the CL and we've got

Loads of money

Take no notice of Rigel. He's not all there.

When are they announcing? I just hope one of the offers comes to fruition. This, is it public money stuff concerns me a bit with the Thai deal but Morgan, though enthusiastic, could be a loose cannon.

Why be so public in his critisms? To get popular support.

He knows that once he's in, he'll work politically to get full control at Anfield. Do we want a prolonged boardroom battle?

I honestly don't know but a Liverpool team going into the CL without Heskey and Biscan is a great prospect to look forward too. Let's hope the boat doesn't get rocked too much.

And to make matters worse for Newcastle they are playing the team that beat them to 4th at Anfield, party on Wayne, party on Garth...

Football can be a cruel game but Chelsea did it to us last season.

LB - I don't think thats possible, GH knows any more of that caper and he's on his way

We need to put this season to bed now and look forward as the future looks real good

I've been GH's biggest critic, (even in the treble winning season) but this season I have seen some of the best attacking play from a Liverpool team in many years.

I'm prepared to give GH until xmas and see who he buys with all this new money.

We need at least 2 or 3 world class players (not stars for the future) to compliment Gerrard and Owen

Cisse and Owen up top will be blistering, Mexes in defence with Hyppia and a world class midfielder to partner Gerrard and with Kewell back to his best we'd have a cracking team.

For the first time in a long time things are looking good.

The MINIMUM requirement has been met by default ie - Villa and Toon are so p!ss poor that LFC have finished 4th. Celebrations today are more relief than joy. Yet, I can see the interview now - "Last year we came 5th, this year 4th, proving that we are a team on the up, and that my faith in Igor, Vlad, and Emile has been vindicated. If I can just replace those with an attitude problem, like Gerrard, Kewill, Owen, and Hyypia, with more French speaking Galoots, and next year, who knows, the dizzy heights of 3rd?" Like I said before, aim low and you won't be disappointed. This is an opportunity to attract a proper manager, with good eyesight hopefully. For that reason alone, I pray that Mr Morgan comes out of this month as the victor. Another season of tactics and team choices like this one and the queue to kill GH will be so big that a bullet fired from the back of it won't reach him!
