Now, this Cisse bloke; fast as fehuck, minimal skill, only use is when running AT the opposition. That'll be him playing up front at the edge of the box with his back to goal then.
Chirpy, couldn't agree more about Murphys comments. They have only performed when their job is on the line. A proper manager would've sorted that problem out long ago.

BUFFEL FLATTERED BY REDS INTEREST

Feyenoord midfielder Thomas Buffel has revealed he is flattered at reported interest from Liverpool in his services.
Reports in Holland claim Liverpool had representatives watch Buffel in international action for Belgium against Turkey last week.

Liverpool have been linked with the goalscoring midfielder in the past and it is believed that The Reds have rekindled their interest in Buffel.

Buffel, who has also been linked with a move to Galatasaray, admitted he would have to consider a move to Liverpool if they tried to sign him.

Tough to tell from a 7 min highlight package but the midfield star in the second half was David Mannix who is highly rated but has been out for a year with ligament damage.

I've watched Welch two or three times live and I'm not all that impressed. I reckon darren 'Harry' Potter will be the one to come through but I could be wrong. It's a big step up to the firsts.

How can you 'seed' clubs that have proved themselves not good enough to go into a champions competition? oh, sorry, stupid me... on Stadium size and backhanders.

Or possibly past performance in the competition of the team and/or other teams in the same league? That seems more likely. :-)
