06/5/2004 13:45 | LB "Now, this Cisse bloke; fast as fehuck, minimal skill," Are you sure? How many times have you watched him? | abix47
06/5/2004 13:44 | Snowy you dimwit How will we know if he doesn't get a chance? (His lack of action at West Ham was mainly down to injury) | abix47
06/5/2004 13:24 | Thing is .... ;-)) ... if Mellor cant cut it at West Ham is it likely he is a PL hot shot ?? Reserves is a big step down from PL . | snowmann
06/5/2004 13:22 | Mellor - 56 in 35 before going to WHam; 10 in 4 since his return, pah - who needs that when we've got the Galoot! Now, this Cisse bloke; fast as fehuck, minimal skill, only use is when running AT the opposition. That'll be him playing up front at the edge of the box with his back to goal then. Chirpy, couldn't agree more about Murphys comments. They have only performed when their job is on the line. A proper manager would've sorted that problem out long ago. Back to the sulpher mines for me......... | littlebert
06/5/2004 13:14 | Theres only one Tomo Bufffel!!!! one Tomo Bufffel Theres only one Tomo Bufffel!!!! sounds like another Igor to me!!! | chirpychap
06/5/2004 13:11 | ?????? Who he ? BUFFEL FLATTERED BY REDS INTEREST Thursday 6th May 2004 Feyenoord midfielder Thomas Buffel has revealed he is flattered at reported interest from Liverpool in his services. Reports in Holland claim Liverpool had representatives watch Buffel in international action for Belgium against Turkey last week. Liverpool have been linked with the goalscoring midfielder in the past and it is believed that The Reds have rekindled their interest in Buffel. Buffel, who has also been linked with a move to Galatasaray, admitted he would have to consider a move to Liverpool if they tried to sign him. | snowmann

06/5/2004 10:22 | Tough to tell from a 7 min highlight package but the midfield star in the second half was David Mannix who is highly rated but has been out for a year with ligament damage. I've watched Welch two or three times live and I'm not all that impressed. I reckon darren 'Harry' Potter will be the one to come through but I could be wrong. It's a big step up to the firsts. | abix47
06/5/2004 10:19 | sounds good Abix. How did Welsh play? | chirpychap

Strawberry Fields forever. Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see. It's getting hard to be someone but it all works out, it doesn't matter much to me. Let me take you down, cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields. Nothing is real and nothing to get hung about. Strawberry Fields forever. No one I think is in my tree, I mean it must be high or low. That is you can't you know tune in but it's all right, that is I think it's not too bad. Let me take you down, cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields. Nothing is real and nothing to get hung about. Strawberry Fields forever. Always, no sometimes, think it's me, but you know I know when it's a dream. I think er know I mean er 'yes' but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree. Let me take you down, cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields. Nothing is real and nothing to get hung about. Strawberry Fields forever. Strawberry Fields forever. 06/5/2004 00:09 | Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds (Lennon/McCartney) Lead vocal: John ~~~ Picture yourself in a boat on a river, With tangerine trees and marmalade skies Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, A girl with kaleidoscope eyes. Cellophane flowers of yellow and green, Towering over your head. Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes, And she's gone. Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Ah Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain Where rocking horse people eat marshmellow pies, Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers, That grow so incredibly high. Newpaper taxis appear on the shore, Waiting to take you away. Climb in the back with your head in the clouds, And you're gone. Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Ah Picture yourself on a train in a station, With plasticine porters with looking glass ties, Suddenly someone is there at the turnstyle, The girl with the kaleidoscope eyes. Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Ah Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds. Ah Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds | robby george

06/5/2004 00:04 | Good morning Gentlemen . Time for some culture on the thread . A Day In The Life (Lennon/McCartney) Lead vocals: John & Paul ~~~ I read the news today oh boy About a lucky man who made the grade And though the news was rather sad Well I just had to laugh I saw the photograph. He blew his mind out in a car He didn't notice that the lights had changed A crowd of people stood and stared They'd seen his face before Nobody was really sure If he was from the House of Lords. I saw a film today oh boy The English Army had just won the war A crowd of people turned away but I just had to look Having read the book. I'd love to turn you on Woke up, fell out of bed, Dragged a comb across my head Found my way downstairs and drank a cup, And looking up I noticed I was late. Found my coat and grabbed my hat Made the bus in seconds flat Found my way upstairs and had a smoke, Somebody spoke and I went into a dream I read the news today oh boy Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire And though the holes were rather small They had to count them all Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall. I'd love to turn you on | robby george
05/5/2004 15:31 | Looks like Joey Barton could be on his way for £2m! Is he good enough to replce Didi?? Im not so sure! | chirpychap
05/5/2004 13:56 | How can you 'seed' clubs that have proved themselves not good enough to go into a champions competition? oh, sorry, stupid me... on Stadium size and backhanders. Or possibly past performance in the competition of the team and/or other teams in the same league? That seems more likely. :-) | stewjames |
