23/5/2018 15:29 | For a share that is forgotten and with no interest it must be for a reason. Hope to find out soon. Shares never do this as far as I'm aware. | whoppy
23/5/2018 15:14 | Been moving up on no trades for last few days. Something happening? | whoppy
17/5/2018 20:12 | Andrew Pearson @LightwaveRF_CEO 12h12 hours ago More Amazing how consistent the @Apple store experience is across the world, great to see @LightwaveRF products on sale at the store in The Mall of Emirate, Dubai. | clocktower
04/5/2018 07:45 | What a pathetic RNS - we are going to a show (that is going to cost us £50k plus - I guess) to market our product. Guess what, when we look at our sales figures afterwards, we might have sold a couple of thousand pounds worth - "What a success - how exciting - it was so worthwhile, and the feedback was invaluable" is the sort of tosh I guess they will spout afterwards. What a waste of company resources and management time. And we think this will help out share price by issuing a RNS. | clocktower
02/5/2018 13:46 | Looking at John Lewis on-line it seems that there are stock shortages, and they keep very few Lightwaverf products in stock in any case: | clocktower
23/4/2018 15:24 | ERA smart home products that work with LWRF at long last. Homeguard Pro | clocktower
19/4/2018 09:14 | Who knows CT?. It's come down on lowish volume so can go up the same way. Agree with you, The Gen2 range is short of some key products to make it a sensible offering for customers, and no sign of them anytime soon. Feb was three months away when the document was released, it takes almost that long to ship from China, yet only the white sockets made the market. Everything else appears to have been missed. Twitter says June for the April items, but the Feb thermostat and relay are not mentioned. Single socket is 4th Quarter, not a big seller but who wants to fit out a room and have mismatched single and double socket? Not a good showing really for a company with resource. It really was, let's just ship the stuff Apple want to stock. Talking 20 markets is easy, the correct co-ordination to make that happen is not so easy. The release schedule has been missed. AS you say support is poor, apps are still lacking simple features that consumers will miss. There's a competitor coming soon that could possibly show LW how to do it. They've certainly thought through what the market needs. I'm impressed enough to have invested. | sinkyj

19/4/2018 08:40 | How high will we see the share price being walked up before the results? Could be a few pence profit in this at present but I expect it will come down with a bang in May. Good Luck. | clocktower
18/4/2018 18:01 | AP trying to get the share price up before the expected bad news in May. AP looks much older in the video than the picture on his twitter page - must be the stress of running a company that is burning funds with what is now almost 40,000 customers - not growing it it? How long ago did they say they had 40,000 customers? No talk of new products and how are they going to service other countries that are not English speaking, when they cannot even offer decent support to customers in the UK | clocktower
18/4/2018 12:07 | Still curious as to why a major company like Apple is so keen to help a tiny tiny minnow like Lightwave, other than they think the products are innovative and Apple like. I note Lightwave are also expanding into Asia, not just Europe. | whoppy
18/4/2018 11:00 | Thanks sinkyj, sounds promising. | whoppy

10/4/2018 09:02 | Will they then come up with another £2+ million order that never materialises whoppy? Look at PSL and the LoI and that followed by funding, and more than once, and look where it is now. More overheads as they expand the team, and it seems to be an acknowledgement that they need to get better at least - the support cannot get much worse by what I read. AP on Twitter: "Here @LightwaveRF we are committed to continuous improvement of our support services - and we know we can get better. We're expanding our team during this month and we've created the separate and dedicated @LightwaveRFHelp for service here on twitter. More to come." | clocktower
09/4/2018 20:01 | Exertis distribution across Europe is something they are working on. | whoppy
09/4/2018 17:35 | We will know more in May, but I would take a bet that revenue isn't double and admin is at least 50% up. The 100K extra sales included the "Alexa effect", I'm not sure the Apple and John Lewis "Effect" is as powerful. It's looking like there is no short term good news. | sinkyj
09/4/2018 17:29 | Whoppy, One other thing to take into account is how many of those products are still working, and how many of those customers that have them installed would even consider buying further LWRF products. I am sure from reading the community blog, that there are a very large number of very disappointed customers around, with products that are no longer functional and some I guess are obsolete. How much goodwill is there really? These products are not that cheap and are not a must have product. Therefore I doubt if they are high on most folks list of important things to buy in 2018/2019. More likely to spend on a good holiday than try to save on the electric bill - it is questionable that you do save if you take the investment into account, if the products fail or become obsolete because the software may not be supported in the future, or if the company can no longer function. | clocktower
09/4/2018 17:09 | Correct, my mistake but Whoppy, be careful what the company states. A "connected device" isn't really a connected device by the strict definition. I. E. One that can transmit data or receive data from the Internet. This figure is the peripherals, includin I was going to edit my statement but as you've replied I'll do it here. I meant lack of progress regarding sales given that we have all the big players and new products. | sinkyj
09/4/2018 16:57 | sinky - the amount of devices connected are around 400,000 (2017), 300,000 (2016). Seems like they went up 100,000 from 2016. Global installations were 46,000 (2017), 40,000 (2016) so an increase of 6000. Obviously existing customers add extra devices, so they don't necessarily need 30k new customers to sell 100,000 devices pa. as can be seen from the 6000 increase. | whoppy
09/4/2018 16:22 | Yes, this part "As a result, the Company expects losses before tax for the six months ended 31 March 2018 to be markedly higher than those reported in the first half last year (2017: loss of £0.33m)." Markedly Higher being the operative words. This could mean millions higher, and once again why no mention of the cash balance at the end of H1? Is there so little left of that £5.25m that they want to keep stum. Is another cash call on its way, that will dilute Pi`s even further? | clocktower
09/4/2018 16:11 | MG'S summary is pretty sound. The products in Warwick were removed, by the way, MG. Whoppy, your figures are retail, you can virtually double the customers required in the equation to around 50k. To put that in perspective, LW current total customers stand at around 40k. So that means doubling the customer base from 7 years sales in 12 months, even though zero progress has been made in the last 6 months. The final statement is the most telling and disappointing. I'm not sure what they have us capable of being scaled at the moment. Too many issues. Too few new products. Too little attention to detail. | sinkyj
09/4/2018 15:50 | Dunno. £6m is 100,000 products at £60 each. Gen 2 products are around £60 each. Gen2 link £129. Let's say the average customer spends £180 buying 3 products..you'd need 33,333 customers. If half of them bought a Gen 2 link say 15,000 then this would be an additional £1.935m. If they buy 3 products and a link then 19,417 customer sales are needed for £6m revenue. Depends on the promoting, distribution and outlets of sale. Can they find 20-30,000 customers every year with iphones, Alexa's, Googles and Siris that want to operate smart home devices? Maybe? Are there other ways to sell, trade, housebuilders etc, yes. Will it help, yes. Has smart home tech taken off yet, No. Is it the future, Yes. | whoppy
09/4/2018 15:33 | Apple will be in no hurry to buy any company that has not proved its potential with a host of satisfied customers, and products that have a trouble free reputation imo. LWRF has neither. I expect it will be a case of sell in May and go away (when the figures are released). Do you seriously think they can build their turnover towards six million without even more investment and/or new products whoppy? | clocktower
09/4/2018 14:13 | But ok...maybe that was the wrong channel. Which brings my criticism full circle. | mg78 |
