This week is just a sign of things to come - up 30% on little volume and down just 2% on a very small number of sells.

Nobody has really picked up the leaked news other than on a couple of these forums - The only thing any of us who actually own shares here need to do is sit back and wait for an RNS about the European launch. That’s when you will see the volume.

Nobody has been ramping the share, it’s not ramping to posts facts and research, it’s what these forums are for. Where I feel sorry for you is that you’re in the right place, at the right time, but you’ve not bought the shares. I told you at 10p. I’m now telling you at 13p - once the European launch becomes wider known this share price will see a significant rise - it’s not even speculation, you’ve seen the link yourself. If you want to be stubborn and miss out on another 30% that’s your business. My business is making money.

The ramp seems to be over for now, as volumes have returned to lower levels again today, come on UKD - do you stuff we need to see this approaching 16p. Very disappointing.

They obviously didn’t see this though:

Let’s hope for a good few weeks.

I had never even heard of Share Prophets before - looks just like the old ‘red hot penny shares’, who for a yearly fee would tell you what stock they all purchased in December and why it’s going to perform so much better next year than the stock they didn’t buy.

UKD, I understand your point better now, my mistake. I would have been better phrasing it as as "no long term, fundamental reason to go from 15 to 10", in any case. We all know markets always hate uncertainty. Here's to finishing the week on a other good day. I notice Shareprofits did a other piece on LWRF, about the news, reiterating their Barge pole rating. It appears there really is no such thing as bad publicity.

Always appreciate reading your comments sinkyj as they are well thought out and rational.

As jmf pointed out, the first half update suggested that the European launch was planned for the second half of the year - all good. Then AP leaves, speculation as to why he left, speculation as to whether the European launch wil happen or not. You’ve been around here longer than I have, I don’t need to explain the sort of stories others come up with - the sentiment and uneasiness has clearly been a cause for the share price falling. My point with the new CEO sharing the same vision was only that now we have (at least some unofficial confirmation) that behind the scenes and despite the lack of comms, the company and new CEO have remained on the same path in rolling out to Europe via Apple. What you have said is absolutely correct and I couldn’t have put it better myself.

My hope is that once the European launch is communicated properly the share price will return to levels prior to this uneasiness. 15p, 20p, 25p? I can’t say I’ve seen anything to warrant a drop from any of those prices to be honest over this last year.

Some reasonable volume at last. No reason for this not to get to 15p. Mainly, because there was no real reason for it to fall to 15p to 10p on a change of CEO.One thing I have I disagree with UKD is this is down to the new CEO's vision. All these things were set up by AP before he left. Particularly, the appointment of a of new support person, Lloyd James, which appeared to make, and continues to make a big difference to customer satisfaction. Don't forget we have an ex Samsung sales person on board, also also appointed by AP. And AP restructured the company to have a direct sales team with increased margins. The Apple relationship has been cultivated over many years, even before AP. I'm not saying the new CEO hasn't made a difference, I just don't know because he hasn't communicated it to the shareholders as of yet, or notice of any personnel additions . He hasn't even taken ownership of the LightwaveRF CEO account. The announcement of the European launch was a leaked out on a reply from their support account. It could be argued had new CEO communicated earlier that the shares wouldn't have fallen.

I expect in the update next month we will finally get official confirmation it has happened - I think there have been question marks when the CEO left as to whether or not the new one would have the same vision - it seems he does. With official confirmation I’ve no doubt it will be picked up in media etc and that’s when I can really see the share price performing well. This isn’t even on people’s radars at the moment beyond a few people who read these boards. I’m certainly looking forward to these next few weeks.

From the interim results...Our focus for the second half of 2018 will be to increase revenues and launch the European range of our Generation 2 switches and sockets. This will be marketed in partnership with Apple in about 20 countries, with initial online availability to be followed by Apple stores and selected Apple Premium Reseller stores.

Lightwave have tapped into a growing market with innovative products that are smart, work well, look good and are really useful, with the ability to do so much more. They compliment, Google, Alexa and Homekit. Being a small company shows there are no barriers if you have innovative products. It opens doors.

Apple have certainly looked after lihhtwave over the years but it’s not been all one way - part of the AppleHomeKit was developed with input from Lightwave several years ago to get the technology spot on.

Maybe one day we’ll see something like iWave. Until then I’ll take seeing the products on the shelves of Apple stores across Europe. They certainly have a good relationship which isn’t easy to come by, even more so for such a small company.

I dont know about previous CEO but I'd guess that direct sales are picking up, based on increased website traffic.

Apple could be a game changer of course but I'd like to see the evidence in the trading update before going nap on this. But on the face of it a connected home supplier supplier to Apple who are rolling out the product to a wider audience, valued down here. Just ridiculous.

You realise the Y axis is inverted on that graph right? Going from 400k at the top to 1m at the bottom.

Another very nice rise UKD, well done, your doing a first class job, keep up the good work - 12.5% rise today already on top on the days previous increases. Twitter away -

JMF69 - Yes I think you maybe right with that figure of £1m but what is more important is, the number of sales, not the amount of stock on the shelves.

Well said Brownie.

What price could this be when the European launch with Apple is announced formally and it becomes more wider known? That link to the tweet confirms it has happenned but we’ve not had official confirmation from the company yet so can see why people would be cautious. But it’s there in black and white!

They did a placement at 16p last year when the share price was in its 20s. That money went straight back into the company, mostly into stock in preparation for this launch! It then dropped because the CEO left (why?!). Even the options were granted at 16p and they can’t cash them in until the share price is 40p! I reckon this can recover well above the placement price once the penny drops wider.

Clocktower, Ive rarely seen so much bitter cr@p on the bulletin board. Do you have personal issues against the company or something?

You surpassed yourself with your comment on the new share options. I'd love them to crystalise at 40p. Do you have any idea how good that would be for holders?

Beginning to feel like the new CEO is making an impact. Traffic to the website is up. Hopefully direct sales will be tracking that trend.

An interesting uptick in the share price too.

Looking forward to the trading update.

I'm estimating Apple would have had to order minimum £1m of stock to be able to have lightwaverf products on the shelf in the 22 countries. Not to mention stock in the warehouses for online orders.

I keep telling you ClockTower that this is a great price. The trading update will come in October, accounts in December and no doubt an update next week about the Home renovator show they’re exhibiting at.

Lightwave are on the featured exhibitors:

The organiser has 20,000 followers, no doubt there will be some free advertising from it and hopefully a few sales than can further boost this years accounts.

Re: Twitter/European launch, it’s not speculation any more, at least not for me it’s not, because I can read in English.

No RNS or official announcement update about this yet, when there is, I expect there to be a lot of interest in the company and the shares. It is what it is. If you take the time to research company’s thoroughly then you spot things that others don’t - it’s all out there in the public domain for those willing to put in the time to find it. As you say, back up to the 16p+ levels - Up another 7% on a handful of trades and difficulty buying any more than 10,000 at a time (All my opinion - dyor)

LOL - seems to be going up nicely for you UKD - well done, your doing a grand job along with the other company supporters, whom well deserve more luck than they have had over the past couple years with LWRF, unless of course they have traded it successfully, which some I know have done.

Keep that twitter going, and 16p may as sinkyl says come soon.
