02/8/2018 12:04 | Is the drop due to market sentiment or are some holders coming to the conclusion that the new CEO might have once again been the wrong choice, or is he struggling to come to terms with the problems at LWRF? How long before it goes sub 10p? | clocktower
26/7/2018 14:54 | If the recent trades are anything to go by it looks like bad news is imminent. | gozo
23/7/2018 14:40 | Maybe not Nar1. In fact, the new CEO has been conspicuous by his absence from any communication with the outside world. Let's hope this is because he believes his actions will speak louder than any tweets and he's busy delivering. Even so, changing the LightwaveRF CEO account into his name would be a helpful start to his tenure. | sinkyj
20/7/2018 16:13 | Let's see maybe Monday morning rns ? | nar1
20/7/2018 13:47 | LOL Nar1 It must soon be time for them to issue a RNS about the European launch with Apple and possibly the middle-east as well. Maybe that is why there has been a couple of decent buys this morning, maybe a leak. It may just cause a spike I guess and have the mad rush of rampers jumping on board, if they do in fact hype it. | clocktower
11/7/2018 11:48 | On the basis one should do their own research when buying and selling shares. One should be mindful of allowing BB posts by individuals with their own agenda to influence their decision making. | nar1
10/7/2018 13:07 | On what basis would you do that Nar1 ? | clocktower
10/7/2018 12:37 | Is it time to buy or time to sell? | a71jay
06/7/2018 08:23 | LOL .Will the mistake be his appointment? After being granted all those options, that I guess were intended to enhance the share price due to the nature of them, another try by way of buying 90k in the market in the hope that others do the same, so they can all continue using investors funds to draw their overblown salaries. Hopefully he has got deep pockets and will buy at least another £100k worth if he really believes he is gods gift, and can turn this cash draining plug designers business into a darling of the market, rather than the dead end socket maker that it has become. | clocktower
06/7/2018 08:17 | That's his first months salary taken care of.Wonder if they'll make the same mistake with that? When we said 10k per month, that was pence. | sinkyj
06/7/2018 08:08 | wish I could buy them at that price! What other mistakes do they make? | janeann
06/7/2018 07:32 | Ah, the good old mixing up pounds and pence. Did no-one proofread the RNS? Best hope they don't do the same in the accounts, eh? | phowdo
06/7/2018 07:22 | More like 10k which is more than the old CEO ever did. | jmf69
06/7/2018 07:17 | "90,681 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company ("Shares") at an average price of 0.11 pence per share. " Blimey, CEO splashes out on 100 quids worth of shares. He must really believe!! | phowdo
03/7/2018 09:30 | The New CEO first days at work seems to be having to arrange his options, you can see where his priorities seem to be. Still, good luck to him because he will need a miracle to be able to take advantage of them or think he`s gods gift to turn this around. | clocktower
25/6/2018 16:46 | I guess that if there is a spike it will allow some to sell into it but it will imo take a lot more than a launch to keep the share price upwards of the current price. DYOR but just my view. | clocktower
25/6/2018 16:22 | That's better than the original September date. Must be due news of the international device launch by Apple? | jmf69
25/6/2018 11:41 | Jason Elliott starting 2nd July | rontb
20/6/2018 18:37 | ct- You are so right - Thanks for keeping me away from this dog. Thread headline (IMO) should be changed to TRACTION LOST. | pugugly
14/6/2018 14:46 | Most of us are willing to pay less and less for everyday products, I expect to see the similar types of plugs, sockets and controls that LWRF sell being available at less than half the price shortly from other suppliers - so what then for Lightwaver. Is this Brand name worth the flick of the light? The company has been slow to create a must have brand, slow to introduce new services, new products and provide great back-up service. It has lost its way and lacks the ground breaking leadership (AP knew how to raise money but little else when it came to connection with the public imo) it needed and still does need to become anything other than - "we were to early for the market" type of company. the market was not ready for us, is what I assume the Bod will be saying. Not what they should be saying, "where have we gone wrong, what are we going to do about it" and so on but I guess they will be saying , how can we get more money out of our PI`s to keep the dream alive. | clocktower
14/6/2018 13:36 | Certainly not been a good 6 months. 1st results we've not had a "devices connected" update. Obviously something to hide. I'd say sold through 3k gen 2 customers absolute maximum and Gen 1 sales would have been hit by new product promises. Apple and John Lewis aren't the home for these devices. Even AP said so. He expected sales to be slow through Apple. I'd be suprised if they sold 2k "links". App store suggests 1.5-2.5k app Apple downloads. The offering is just wrong. Not sure who is to blame, but it's just not the place for screwdriver items. CT, you describe as devices you can fix by returning or not. Simpler description, I've always used is : do you need a screwdriver to fit or not? Apple store is not the place for screwdrivers.LW do seem to have realised with their direct sale push. They can arrange an installer. However it's very late in the day to start the operation. | sinkyj
13/6/2018 16:02 | Imagine what would happen to the share price if Apple were to discontinue selling Lightwaverf products due to the poor volume of sales in their stores? In view that the items have been available since October you say sinkyj, one would have expected news from LWRF about how many new units are connected, if they were selling like hot cakes off the shelves. You might have even expected them to say that they could not get enough to satisfy demand. Silence about sales from Apple outlets!! | clocktower
12/6/2018 09:19 | BG only took 25k last year and has consistently invested in the company. I feel one of the good guys. Some directors have never invested, ever. 2017J Shermer 108KA Pearson 98KK Edward's 97KM Lord 85KFar be it from me to state the obvious, but that's one hell of a salary bill for a small company making 1 million gross profit and there were more directors than that. You'd think you'd be correct, Whoppy, about Apple. The strange thing is so far isn't hasn't been the case. I estimate about 3k units sales of the Gen 2. 1k Android and 2k Apple. That's disappointing but hardly surprising given very little promotion and the lack of a range of products. Remember it's been available Apple since October. | sinkyj |
