11/6/2018 09:15 | I take it as positive news AP has gone and that the major shareholder is doing something about it. | whoppy
11/6/2018 09:11 | MM's are obviously going to rip-off sellers. | whoppy
11/6/2018 09:11 | LWRF is the only UK company to have a vault of analytical data on energy use which is very valuable to energy suppliers to help them understand how customers are using their energy and how they can ultimately save money and thereby provide a competitive advantage. I would think this new guy will have something to offer other than just being a technical guy. It's about knowing how to monetise the data. | whoppy
11/6/2018 09:03 | AP - has spent the bulk of the money raised I guess, and maybe they also had to give him a golden handshake. They have lost the plot and are just searching the oceans for anyone that might be able to raise this wreck from the seabed. Only 31k share traded and almost 10% down - this what 100k of sales would do. Bet it hit the top of the losers list a few times over the next weeks. You were warned. | clocktower
11/6/2018 08:55 | I did say Andrew Pearsons time was up! There was a frustratingly slow progress under his tenure. This new guy is no nonsense, with contacts in the energy market. | whoppy
11/6/2018 08:48 | The main shareholder wants action and has lined up the new guy to put some deals together. I believe Apple are looking to buyout LWRF, so they can have their sockets and switches and security and heating as official Apple products. Expansion into international markets is where Apple want to go. | whoppy
11/6/2018 07:51 | LOL gozo - AP booted out with immediate effect: Must be pretty bad!! By the time the new CEO gets in his job they made need a salvage expert, in fact he maybe that, having served in the RN, or even deep water bomb disposal. The writing was on the wall with no new exciting products - money being burnt of worthless shows. Wonder, if Apple have even decided to pull it off the shelves? Good Luck folks, your going to need it. Hope your not still in deep sinkyj. | clocktower
11/6/2018 07:43 | Surprised he gone | nar1
11/6/2018 07:19 | Well, at least the new CEO to be has Royal Navy submarine service experience....he may well need it as this could be under water pretty soon! | gozo
05/6/2018 15:57 | Just found this co on the Nex exchange, similar products: www.sandal-plc.co.uk SANDAL PLC ("Sandal" or the "Company") LAUNCH OF NEW RANGE OF LIGHT SWITCHES 23 MAY 2018 Sandal plc, the designer, developer and manufacturer of electronic products, is pleased to announce that Energenie MiHome is launching a new range of light switches comprising a dimmer and 2-gang light switch and slave, which together with its wall power sockets, thermostat and radiator valves makes Energenie MiHome the only system that currently covers the complete Smart Home IoT lighting, power and heating requirements of homes and small businesses in the UK. Sandal Plc CEO, Alan Tadd commented: "As a leading player in the Smart Home IoT market, this is a very important milestone for the Energenie MiHome business. In 2018/19, we are targeting entry into the electrical wholesale and plumbing merchant markets as the sector, through its combination with Amazon Echo and Google Home, starts to move from a "plug and play" market to an "installed for me" market. We are committed to our "works with" programme for Amazon Echo and Google Home in the UK and other territories as these systems expand their global footprint. We anticipate an increased growth in the number of installed systems through consumers and the developing social care and housing markets as we now cover the complete installation markets". In addition, the Company is delighted to have been nominated as NEX Company of the Year for the second year running at the Small Cap Awards 2018. Sandal's CEO, Alan Tadd also featured in a recent interview conducted by Core TV London which can be seen at hxxps://youtu.be/m67 | euclid5
31/5/2018 20:17 | Fair comment sinkyj and you hit the nail on the head in your last paragraph. It seems they must be licking their lips tonight as they will be reflecting how well they got away with it today by using the Brand names of others, that really carry weight. I do not expect John Lewis to sell any serious numbers from the very limited range that the company has. A lack of new product, and pretty poor re-views at that, if you go and take a look at A few examples: "This is driving me crazy. I have tried to swap all devices over to my new link plus. But some were not pairing or switching. Have finally worked out that its a range issue. By bringing the power adapters closer I can pair them and make them work. But put them back where they needed and they don’t !! I have a 3 storey house and link plus is located near my router on the middle floor. How on earth would you create a bridge that had a smaller ranger than its predecessor? Don’t know if to give up and demand a refund or not. " 26.05.18 post. "Oh gosh, I was thinking of upgrading from Gen 1 to Gen 2. But my house appears to have lots of metal that caused problems with Wi-Fi range. I cannot relocate my LW Link so can anyone confirm whether DaveJudd and h3mp were unlucky, or whether the Gen 2 does indeed have worse range than the Gen 1 please?" 30.03.18 " Is it possible to sell some of my boxed Gen 1 devices through the official site? Have a double and triple gen 1 light switch that didnt work out in my home" | clocktower
31/5/2018 10:49 | CT, In the interest of balance, CT.1. Direct sales :B2C -good margins, increase staffing costs. "We doubled our direct sales in the period to GBP0.5 million (2017: GBP0.22 million) through tele-sales and ecommerce, which is now supported by field-based sales consultants visiting prospective customers in their homes"2. Cash burnMuch more stock, one off increase. They should have explicitly mentioned the figure in the blurb, so people didn't miss it. At the moment electronic businesses are being crippled by supply chain issues, so this is a wise move. Obviously, with the caveat that it's going to move off the shelves at a ubalanced rate now. "Increase in inventories (847,647)" 3. Valuation As you well know, there are companies with significantly less traction and track record that have recently raised at a higher valuation. That's to be expected as the track record here is a bit chequered. However, the valuation isn't a magnitude out given links to major names and products in the market, and due to market. Having said all that, what wasn't said was probably more significant than what was. That leaves the impression that it wasn't as good news as would be expected. | sinkyj
31/5/2018 09:54 | Current Market Cap over £10,000,000 only £2.46m cash at 31.03.18 and looking at the burn rate there will be a fair bit of that gone, as they have not forecast profits (unless I missed it).How do the prospects support the current valuation? | clocktower
31/5/2018 09:49 | LOL - If you were holding this share would you have anything positive to say about the results issued today leyton007. :-) | clocktower
31/5/2018 09:28 | Can't you find anyone to play with Clocktower? | leyton007
31/5/2018 09:05 | Everyone keeping their heads down and hoping that these dire results pass by without attention being drawn to how bad they really are after all the past hype of large sales orders in the past. In addition they have nothing to say about the number of devices now being supported, which suggests to me they are far from flying off the shelf at John Lewis or in Apple Stores and Amazon. They do however say how they are increasing direct sales - what they fail to say is what they mean by direct sales - it is direct web sales or sales from the new team to the likes of John Lewis. | clocktower
31/5/2018 08:09 | trying to keep your hopes up JMF69? Cash burn leaves very little for a marketing campaign let alone support for European product. £4,900,000 raised in December and only £2,460,000 cash left three months later. So what is left now, bearing in mind they have appointed extra sales staff to try to boast sales. This is rapidly running out of cash once again from what I make of it. Soon be can we have some more case please I expect. Show me figure that disagree with my view and I will review my comment. My target now is 5p by the next results. They will be praying that holders do not dump stock now, so they can get more cash I expect. | clocktower
31/5/2018 07:15 | European device range launching in the coming weeks | jmf69
30/5/2018 16:48 | 10p on the cards or less maybe? However, I guess the forward statement will be positive. | clocktower
30/5/2018 16:28 | Doesn't bode well that they've left it to the last day if they are actually announced tomorrow? | jmf69
30/5/2018 16:27 | Results have to be tomorrow if they want to stick to their May schedule | jmf69
29/5/2018 23:01 | Looks like there is a big trade there. | whoppy
29/5/2018 12:48 | Results any time now!!! Wait for the bad news with promises of jam tomorrow I expect. | clocktower
25/5/2018 08:12 | When you ask Alexa to switch off your lights of a night from your bed, who is listening to you? | clocktower
