25/10/2017 11:05 | Forecast RNS from LWRF from my Crystal ball but there are no facts to support my crystal ball is correct but it could go something like this: "We are delighted to announce that sales generated by Apple have exceeded our expectations and look forward to the continued growth and working with them to support the rapid growth in the IoT market." At what point would they issue this type of returns is the question - would it be when they sell 10 units - 100 or 1000? | clocktower
25/10/2017 10:46 | LOL gozo, No ratings, no reviews maybe no sales! :-) Certainly not causing the website to crash due to demand. | clocktower

24/10/2017 14:56 | Whoppy , Have you worked out how much money in total has the company lost since listing, a net figure after deduction of the one profit I seem to recall v how much have the directors been paid in this time? AP has still not dug very deep into his own pocket to buy stock one must remember, nothing more than a token buy imo. Gravy Train comes to mind. | clocktower
24/10/2017 14:03 | correct @whoppy This announcement. However, this releases's headline says *Unchanged Annual loss*, not unchanged expenses. My figures are based on that and the previous 2016 accounts. Losses of 0.84m imply greatly increased expenses of 2m given 33% margin and "double revenue". Profit margin, will only cover the Staff Costs, not the total Admin Expenses, leaving a loss of approx 0.8m. I "Even after these increases, the Company expects losses before tax for the year ended 30 September 2017 to be broadly in line with those of the prior year (2016: loss of GBP0.84m)". | sinkyj

24/10/2017 12:23 | LightwaveRF Expects Unchanged Annual Loss But Revenue To Double Smart home solutions provider LightwaveRF PLC said on Wednesday it expects revenue for its recently ended financial year to be more than double... Trading Update LightwaveRF plc ("LightwaveRF" or the "Company"), the leading smart home solutions provider, announces a trading update for the financial year ended 30 September 2017. The Company anticipates that revenue will have more than doubled from the prior year (2016: GBP1.44m). Gross margin is also expected to have materially increased (2016: 32.5%). Capital expenditure on both the Company's Generation 2 Apple HomeKit certified product range and further product developments has increased over the year. Additionally, investments in revenue generating activity as well as administrative expenses have increased. Even after these increases, the Company expects losses before tax for the year ended 30 September 2017 to be broadly in line with those of the prior year (2016: loss of GBP0.84m). The Company's recently announced electrical wholesale distribution agreement with Deta Electrical is now being implemented, and its Generation 2 product range has been released. Distribution through Apple online and in retail stores is expected to follow shortly. The Company anticipates that its final results for the year ended 30 September 2017 will be released in early December 2017. | whoppy
21/10/2017 08:36 | Whoppy, you've missed a 1 off the front of the expenses. 840k won't even cover the staff costs, of which £350-400k will be the directors: 2016 highest paid director was £132k and total staff costs of 720k. Per the recent announcement, Sept 17 will likely end. Revenues 3m Gross profit 1m Admin Expenses 2m (1M Staff costs) Tax Credit 0.2m Giving loss similar to last year of 0.80m To breakeven we would be talking 5-6 million revenue. Doubling sales for a second year is possible, but given that it's going to be 6 months into the financial year before the new Gen 2 range is out in full, unlikely. It's not if they will need more cash, it's only when and what form it will take. . | sinkyj
20/10/2017 14:08 | I think you will see revenue of £3m for the year and a margin of 33%. Expenses and investments of about £840k. Profit margin should cover this. | whoppy
20/10/2017 14:00 | gozo, they should get an award for NOT delivering profits and rewarding all FAITHFUL investors, whom could have possibly taken profits on the hype they supplied, and managing to keep themselves drawing healthy incomes along the way. Maybe another award could be for getting the Apple to take a little bite on the back of dreams of mass roll-out. :-) Good Luck. How much cash do you think they have left? | clocktower
19/10/2017 13:55 | "A little patience required" sinkyj, I think anyone will need bucket loads if they think that a few bits of IoT things on Apple store shelves will have any major impact in the current climate. Belts are about the be tightened, incomes are unlikely to increase, interest rates might be going up, debt is on the increase and will do so even more with Black Friday around the corner, then Christmas. The bubble is about to burst imo. Cash is King.40 plus points down today so far, this is the start of the decline imo, and not just the decline in this stock but many across the market. I have taken cash out of the market and will continue to do so as and when the sun shines on a couple of dogs. | clocktower
19/10/2017 10:29 | Very muted response to the news. Maybe we will do better when the full launch happens next month. All it needs is a few mentions in the press again or a TV advert. All Gen2 products on the LightwaveRF site are now showing pre-order and 2nd week of November for delivery. Not sure many were actually installed : 17 ratings on iTunes and 100 downloads on Play store for the Gen2 App. Must admit it's difficult to see how many products would shift at the moment from the Apple online store. Only a hub that doesn't work with any other manufacturers products and a double socket for sale. Also a very soft launch. The Share price is probably as muted as the launch at the moment. A little patience required. | sinkyj
19/10/2017 09:25 | gozo, your not the only one with gremlins in their systems, as Microsoft have wiped some of my programs with a repair or some update when I restarted my computer, and if your a Beaufort client they are having massive problems with their new on-line trading platform. As for LWRF - this RNS has not set anything alight as I guess AP and Co would have wished, he will need to pull another bunny from the hat for that, so Down Down Down, and no mention of Cash balances either. Only my view mind you so DYOR folks. | clocktower
19/10/2017 08:53 | Thanks for posting.....news not showing up on advfn for me this morning.....gremlin in the system or Clocktower sat outside advfn towers with a scrambling device :) | gozo
19/10/2017 08:39 | LightwaveRF PLC Apple Homekit Range Available Via Apple Online RNS Number : 0201U LightwaveRF PLC 19 October 2017 19 October 2017 LightwaveRF plc (AIM: LWRF) Apple Homekit Range Now Available Via Apple Online Store LightwaveRF plc ("LightwaveRF" or the "Company"), the leading smart home solutions provider, announces that its next generation Apple HomeKit certified product range, for controlling smart devices with iOS apps and Siri voice commands, is now available to purchase via the Apple Online Store. 18/10/2017 16:28 | LOL sinkyj - It is certainly not the first suggestion you make on post 3980 - Though I wish it was, as I would be well rewarded rather than picking up crumbs. It is clearly what you say in item 2 & 3 imo. As for how low it will go before anyone dips a toe in, well that is the 64$ question. My view, for what is worth, is that it will go below the figure that I truly expect them to be able to generate new money (if of course they need it). So my guess for now and before the end of the year will be 9/10p | clocktower
18/10/2017 15:09 | I just checked Apple UK online store and first two LWRF products are listed - the link plus hub and a stainless steel 2-gang (gen2) socket....hopefully more to follow plus associated marketing | tbroka
17/10/2017 12:16 | Almost 50% of the value of the stock wiped off in little more than a month. At what level will there be any serious support now that the bid and offer are below 20p? Still, no sign of them coming out with their current cash position, and bearing in mind someone mentioned on this thread soon after the last RNS, and that they understood AP follows it, suggests to me that he is not going to inform the market quickly and clearly, even though several posters on the thread have called upon them to do so, as they overlooked or avoided that in the last RNS. As always the question is, do you jump now, and hope to get back in at a lower level, even if you take losses at this point in time but gain stock in the longer term, if you buy back in at maybe a few pence lower, or live in hope that better news will follow and the share price will jump upwards. | clocktower |
