Can't believe this is still below the recent placing price.
Big holder took a 11% interest last week. Herald Investment Management Limited.

A lot of people don't know about the RNS yet as it doesn't appear to be showing on the main investment platforms for some reason. It's come up as an nonregulated announcement although it's not.

Game on it seems with the volume not pushing the share price above the last funding level yet!!!

Good trading.

@LightwaveRF_CEO my American colleagues were quite jealous when I showed them the lightwave range... apparently they don’t have any HomeKit switches with such a nice finish over there!

@LightwaveRF_CEO

We’ve heard this from Apple execs too! Hopefully the opportunity will still be wide open in the future ie when we are larger and ready to go to market there!

Great RNS this morning.
I think it's the Apple effect. I can feel a buyout in the offing.

Lightwave Generation 2 Apple HomeKit Range in Apple UK stores

LightwaveRF plc ("LightwaveRF" or the "Company"), the leading smart home solutions provider, announces that Apple has commenced the roll out of Lightwave's next generation Apple HomeKit certified product range across its UK retail store network.

The Generation 2 product range is on sale in a number of Apple stores, including its key London locations in Regent Street, Westfield and Covent Garden, as well as Manchester, Birmingham and Reading. This follows the Company's announcement on 19 October 2017 that the new Lightwave product range was available on Apple's online store. Apple has now started placing additional orders for the Company's Generation 2 range following stronger than expected sales volumes since launch.

Andrew Pearson, LightwaveRF's CEO, commented:

"Although the Generation 2 range has only been on sale with Apple for a few weeks, the initial feedback and the placing of new orders at this early stage is very encouraging."

Did they only expect to sell a handful from the limited range on offer, and the problem that I can see is that if there is a Santa Sales Bonus, then they will be out of stock with a long lead time to stock up, and the opportunity will have been missed.

Still, 20p by the weekend I guess once hyped around.

With the volume of sells today this could be the start of the real slump in the share price I expect, unless of course they have some better news than the last half losses.

Could there be any bad debts for LWRF if things get worse at Maplin?

buggy, I think you are always bound to get some shareholders that either think they maybe lucky enough to make a quick turn, and apply for extra stock, hoping the placing will be oversubscribed.

I am however surprised that there has been a level of support today, bearing in mind the shortfall announced, together with the things you mention.

Maybe AP is holding back to buy and show support if the share price does fall further, as investors tire, unless of course they are able to provide better news or an offer comes for the company, now it has a small funding cushion.

I expect all support will now fall away with any selling and we will see where the share price sits in a few weeks time.

Two things of note from today`s RNS: AP did not take up his Basic Entitlement it seems and only two directors did.

Most shocking of all, only 25.1 per cent of the max number of Open Shares on offer, only raising around £250k.

Unlike last time, when the offer was oversubscribed. It seems many stakeholders have little faith in the companies ability to make a profit and add value after so many dilutions.

Yes, SSE were/are going to provide through Dixons/Carphone. I was slightly involved with the preferred bidder, but the bidder turned down the business to concentrate on their core products. I'm not sure where it's one from there, maybe still up for grabs. However, an open standard was prefered to allow multiple manufacturers to supply.

The SSE model is going to be the larger future routes to market for smart home, much if it is too hard to install, compatibility is questionable and generally too confusing for the average consumer to purchase. An "expert" installation service solves most of this. The key is they will concentrate on solutions not sell products.
