09/4/2018 11:11 | Not questioning your or any other recent poster's common sense, apologies if it appears that way. We seem to have a common view, even staunch company supporters have bailedIt the company's common sense that I find to be to be questionable. | sinkyj
06/4/2018 20:08 | What is interesting is is you look at what customers also viewed you see a number of different products but if for example you click on the Apple Home Pod, and look at what customers viewed you do not see them looking at Lightwaverf products. I guess you must be well underwater with this whoppy and it gives me no pleasure if you are but while I think it is domed I wish you and anyone else that is holding that I am wrong and someone will offer more than allows most posters here to get out with a profit or at least the bulk of their investment(gamble)ba | clocktower
06/4/2018 14:05 | I see Lightwave products are on the John Lewis website but they are found under Furniture and Lights/Lighting and electrical accessories. You would of thought they would advertise them under Electricals Smart Home. Looks like they had initial stock of 20 items for each. | whoppy
06/4/2018 13:50 | I am no longer sure what Andrew Pearson is trying to do with this company. The Smart Home market is hot, the company has products, the opportunities are there, they have a good association with Apple, but as to what they are trying to do I have no idea anymore as they're not delivering. | whoppy
06/4/2018 12:48 | So, the share price is still sliding, the chart looks more like a playground slide, good for those that are looking forward to coming down with a bump at the foot of the slide. Tweeter AP not busy trying to bail out this sinking ship, how much longer will he be in a job? I was looking at the reviews on Amazon, not very good overall imo, and in view of the low number of those reviews, I would guess sales are very slow. At what level will we see any decent support 5p ? | clocktower
28/3/2018 22:40 | >>>whoppy Re: your post 4215 "Lightwaverf are the only manufacturer of fitted smart plug sockets and light switches. Everyone else either does these plug in things into the socket, or smart bulbs. Not very practical in a new build and don't look as good. Apple know this." For info: NEX quoted Sandal sell smart wall sockets and smart light switches along with a variety of other permanent smart fixtures and fittings (including radiator valves, thermostats, door/window sensors and motion detectors). I have the light switches at home, they work well with Amazon's Alexa and I have no complaints I have a modest holding in Sandal, purchased at the IPO. They came with EIS tax reliefs, so they must coming up to their three year minimum holding period about now, but I am happy to hold on to them for a while longer, given the current prospects. | timbo003
28/3/2018 16:23 | Yes, very poor whoppy. Almost unforgivable at this stage of the company. If you are on stage with a big band you need to make sure your instruments are in tune. | sinkyj
28/3/2018 15:50 | This is something they've got to get a grip on. It should never happen. @LightwaveRF Mar 27 We are aware that some Generation 2 users may have found that their timers are out of sync by one hour since the reversion to British Summer Time at the weekend. We are aware of this issue and will have a software update available within the next few days to fix this. 0 replies 0 retweets 1 like Reply Retweet Like 1 | whoppy
28/3/2018 15:46 | No they are putting money into driverless cars. Stupidest idea I have ever heard. Who wants a computer driving your car? Waste of money. Sooner have a smart home. Lol | whoppy
28/3/2018 15:36 | Maybe Apple will also offer mortgages whoppy for all these disposable homes with fittings that date.Throw away homes like offering upgraded I-Phones!Hooked for life! Have a great Easter. | clocktower
28/3/2018 15:32 | The least AP could do is go and visit a housebuilder. | whoppy
28/3/2018 15:26 | If I'm a housebuilder building loads of homes and a rival is kitting out their built houses with smart plug sockets and light switches that also operate conventionally, what do I do? Do I : A) Ignore it carry on with what I had planned? B) Fit a bog standard cheapy plastic plug socket and light fitting. C) Find out what plugs and sockets my rival has installed and offer the same? D) Go one better and install automatic everything? | whoppy
28/3/2018 15:14 | The thing is you have Google and Alexa to consider. They won't just sit by while Apple corners the market and builds smarthomes, telling housebuilders what smart kit to put in. 100's of thousands of homes need building in the UK and they all need electrical sockets and smart stuff. Apple getting in with the housebuilders means they will lock out Google and Alexa.. Lightwaverf are the only manufacturer of fitted smart plug sockets and light switches. Everyone else either does these plug in things into the socket, or smart bulbs. Not very practical in a new build and don't look as good. Apple know this. | whoppy
28/3/2018 15:05 | You never get paid much for being on stage as a supporting act sinkyj. If they see a viable future in it, they might just make a offer for it when the share price tanks, if what whoppy turns out to be fact rather than fiction. So, I cannot see current stakeholders making a killing on the back of Apple. | clocktower
28/3/2018 15:00 | I don't think LWRF can live up to expectation created by Andrew Pearson. Not unless he is keeping quiet for a positive reason. But it doesn't look like that by the way the share price has reacted. The twitter posts he keeps tweeting suggests a lot of arm waving while the stock sinks. We need action. | whoppy
28/3/2018 14:55 | CT, Don't particularly disagree with any of that. It isn't really about the particular application, it's about being on the stage with one of the world's biggest companies. If the company needed new shareholder money you could guarantee that this publicity would be used to create "shareholder value" | sinkyj
28/3/2018 14:40 | No it's a part time role, they will still work at Apple. It's like a takeover of LWRF without paying anything. Company needs to go to next level and this will fast track it. Apple bods will takeover. | whoppy
28/3/2018 14:36 | Then you better hope its not a rotten apple that they have chucked out. :-) | clocktower
28/3/2018 14:28 | Lol yes, only not a lemon! | whoppy
28/3/2018 14:26 | What another fruit? :-) | clocktower
28/3/2018 14:25 | Someone from Apple is coming in apparently. | whoppy
28/3/2018 14:23 | If that happens whoppy the share price will tank and 5p will be generous- great being short, the way things are going. | clocktower
28/3/2018 14:20 | He won't be a winner with the main shareholder here. His next job, he will need to find, will more difficult if he gets sacked by them. Just something I've heard. Sitting in an office tweeting is not what we are paying him for. | whoppy |
