Looking at C19's posting history I wouldn't be expecting much in terms of a coherent argument for shorting LGEN.

That doesn't mean they're wrong though. If they're right, I'm sure they'll remind us they foretold it, but if they're wrong I suspect they'll be very quiet.

I also reckon that LG and others will be the new face of council housing in specialist deals cut with the government makes perfect sense to me. The government hasn’t got the money the rents provide a future yield for pension companies and inflation strips away the initial cost over the years.

I would not be short any of the pension providers. With labour wanting to increase pension saving so they can use said saving for investment the only way for their stock prices is up, especially when they are so massively undervalued as a group.

Covid 19 deal sounds like one of those scammers websites that popped up while people were dying.

Anybody get the feeling that with the demise of the capital gains allowance along with dividends that at some point these get incorporated into isas the limits may be higher but like pensions easy pickings. I no folks say it won’t happen but where else do you put the money the alternatives are few.

Happy enough to hear coherent reasons WHY LGEN are a short. However, repeated "short" comments with NO rationale won't be tolerated.

So, have at it, what good reasons are there to short LGEN covid 19 deal?

I suspect given the future outlook those job vacancies will keep increasing as the exodus from working gathers pace as folks with cash just spend it on having a good time rather than increasing taxes and possible extortionate care fees.

Looks like a racing certainty that those pension pots are going to get dragged into IHT just such easy pickings for this labour government probably reduce the housing element as well the money to fund broken Britain has to come from somewhere.
