In any event, the dividends will still roll right on in - LGEN didn't even pause during the pandemic, unlike some others.

Rising/sideways/falling markets can be traded to boost positions though. At the moment pretty much all insurers/life assurance/fund management companies and indices are totally bombed out on a very short term technical basis and so there is a potential opportunity in the short term.

Normally I'd find your post obnoxious. In this instance you are correct, he's a total family failure. The type locked away because of the freak nature.Good call.

True I guess the next weeks and months will see what’s priced in!

You don't get many bargains when all the 'omens' are good. There's an awful lot of 'bad news' already priced into some sectors - particularly insurance.

Although very tempting again at this price the omens aren’t good out there and they can’t be ignored now could get very nasty even for good shares like this.

I can only imagine if the nostrils of that sneering inbreed wood house. According that ar5e, his shares only go up... ? except when they don't. That cretin must be such a disappointment to those that bred him.

Been away on business since Wednesday evening and have just got home in time to catch up on the markets these past few days.

What a mess it looks but I managed too to grab a few more here before close.
I thought the US had topped out where inflation is concerned but they clearly have not !!

I haven't owned LGEN for a long time but decided to buy today. Suspect the gap at 241.40p will get filled but happy to enter at 242p. Nice divi, short term technicals bombed out and parts of the business should benefit from inflation.

Capital Economics reckon the Bank of England could join other central banks in lifting rates by 50 basis points to 1.5pc.

i fear the recession will be global
what is a safe haven when the world is going down the swanee?
good luck to you, and well done for being out of uk stocks
you'd think with an ave p/e of 14 that we are safe compared with a p/e in the us of over 30.
i think that is madness although many of my friends have made fortunes on it
when i advise them to relax and sell they think i'm mad
maybe they're right

"all my insureres are well up perhaps we're coming back into fashion after being flogged for so long great recovery stocks"

LOL. You're a better flipflop merchant than Bozo Johnson!

I would say ADML is at the bottom of the trend channel since 2004. If you think that's about to give, then things must be bad.

I share your pessimism on UK ade. My invested chunk of my portfolio is almost entirely in UK listed commodity stocks operating outside the UK.
