Looking forward to full year results in April after recent update was very positive, and going forward statement reassuringly positive. Market appears to like company's with strong growth prospects and along with a key management team the LTG segment is huge and expanding. Happy to hold and may even add a few ahead of the Y/E results and comment from the Board.

Well that was a good start.
People might get a bit more confident when they sort out what they're doing with interest ratres in the US.

On the evening of 12 March 2023, a statement was issued jointly by the US Treasury, Federal Reserve and FDIC announcing a systematic risk exception which will allow depositors at SVB US to regain access to all of their money starting today, 13 March 2023. In addition, this morning HSBC Holdings PLC has announced the acquisition of SVB UK and the Bank of England and HM Treasury has confirmed that all depositors' money with SVB UK is safe and secure as a result of this transaction.

Also, you can offset in insolvency so they can offset any shortfall in deposits vs any loans they have from the same entity. Given they have net debt, it's unlikely they have any net exposure.

I shall just watch and see what unfolds....but to be fair I haven't many here.

The 21AR identifies SVB London as "principal banker" on p. 147 and a CTRL-F in the document turns up the references to SVB as the lead in the lending syndicate. No response from the company to my queries, but stories this pm on Bloomberg and Sky about possible buyers of the UK arm of SVB.

Bailouts in the UK

The UK government is coordinating an emergency meeting with tech firms, who are expected to call for state intervention to avoid the failure of hundreds of firms following the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank ⚠️

I've asked them on the inquiry page and through email and will post if I hear back (although an RNS on Monday might be better).

I see what you mean.
Perhaps somebody needs to contact them and see if we are insure status.

Goodness me.

What on earth makes you suspect that??

Does anyone know how much, if any, of LTG's cash is deposited in Silicon Valley Bank (the lead bank in the lending syndicate)?

Pleased to see an uplift here.
I see we have a similar pattern on the chart as Malvern.
Let's hope it is significant and lasting.

A purchase by a director ought to be viewed as a positive....I would have thought.

I do agree that the dollar even with short term weakness, will continue to shine.
However, perhaps that would make it attractive to a bidder for a takeover?

My thoughts entirely I must add.

I think since reading about BP. in the Times, on a similar vein....low valuation made it a bid target.... it made me think that there are quite a few good companies likely to be in that same bracket.

Thanks for that hazl. For everyone’s benefit I quote, re the conference:

“With over 9000 attendees from 50 different countries, 200 unmissable seminars and 200 exhibitors, it continues to grow in importance, value and attendance year on year.”

It’s at the Excel Centre, London, May 3 & 4.

I am given to understand that technology might have a bit of a recovery from here...so we are in the right area and with good results.

So no way am I disappointed.
