16/4/2024 09:36 | No surprise to see drop | johndoe23
16/4/2024 09:00 | I guess people are waiting for the analysts' meeting to finish, but I had expected a bigger fall in the shares, infact thought they might take quite a bath.As soon as I saw 'no longer appropriate' with regards to 2025 run rate revenues and EBITDA, it felt like a pretty deep profit warning. Yes they're putting it down to lack of acquisitions and I do get that in fairness, but nevertheless they're also hoping to increase ebit this year on the same revenues as just reported in order to meet consensus expectations, which must point to cutbacks - 'efficiencies' I think was the word used. Not great but they're hoping for the economy to improve, just to get by.Interesting to see whether it holds up after US market gets going. | microscope
16/4/2024 07:58 | Disappointing update and not much to look forward to it seems. Of course Satchell will be keen not to overpromise, but sure we were all hoping for more. | 12badger
16/4/2024 06:49 | They have an analyst meeting that anyone can attend online at 9 a.m. Sensible to ask your questions then. Investors meet. | hazl
16/4/2024 06:43 | Given the strength of our balance sheet, we are poised for a return to earnings accretive acquisitions in 2024 that fit with our strategy, as part of our active portfolio management. | zipstuck
16/4/2024 06:31 | Well I am surprised you say that JohnnDoe. I believe they have kept stable in as they say....a very challenging back drop. They have done well with their GP Strategies acquisition and are keeping tight reins on their cash. Perhaps could be regarded as sensible not to acquire anything in this environment. For every company survival is the most important thing. 'Focus on execution of our strategic agenda ● GP Strategies has more than doubled profit since joining LTG in 2021, driven by margin progression, a successful transformation plan and operational improvements to GPLX in H2 2023. ● Renewed all major client contracts >$10m and expanded revenue in LatAm and Middle East. ● Actively managed our portfolio including the sale of Lorien Engineering Solutions which completed in January 2024. ● Further streamlined and strengthened the commercial operation by integrating Watershed into Rustici, LEO into GP Strategies and Reflektive into Bridge. ● Established Group wide AI task force launching several AI enhanced software products in 2024 and leading on educating our Fortune 500 client base on a "Human + AI" future. ● Achieved significant impact by providing learning to over 200 million people during the year. Resilient financial performance with record operating cash flow generation ● Revenue of £562.3 million and adjusted EBIT of £98.5 million in line with consensus expectations, reflecting a slight decline (2)% in constant currency revenue and (1)% adjusted EBIT. ● Statutory profit before tax increased 13% to £45.6 million. ● Resilient revenue performance in the context of the macroeconomic climate - with 73% of revenue underpinned by durable SaaS and long-term contracts. ● Adjusted EBIT margin increased to 17.5% in FY23 from 17% in FY22. ● GP Strategies' EBIT margin c.15% in H2 and exit run-rate c. 17% in line with previous guidance. 15/4/2024 10:19 | It was here, fyi | jeffian
15/4/2024 09:18 | 1 ultimate...if you read the late January statement from the CEO update it sets out what they expect by way of revenues and EBIT quite clearly. The only caveat was that forward guidance would be provided in the full F/Y results to be released in April. | cyberian
15/4/2024 06:09 | Investor and analyst presentation announcement. | hazl
15/4/2024 05:37 | Well reserve judgement but looking forward to it ultimate. It is just the general market now that is a worry but we can't do anything about that. | hazl
15/4/2024 04:31 | What’s everyone’s thoughts on how the full year results will look like tomorrow? | 1ultimate
10/4/2024 11:40 | Agree Toffee. I hope that the CEO can announce possible acquisitions in the pipe-line next Tuesday, and possibly an increase in a dividend. However, I would personally prefer further investment from liquid funds available to increase growth in revenues into 2025. I keep looking at Alassian Corp (code TEAM) in the US as an interested partner in LTG as their software products are truly global and heavily used by major Corporations. Cross selling of LTG software services could be substantial...just a thought. US inflation numbers out today show latter is still at a stubborn level but not really that unhelpful to LTG in trying to increase margins which seems to prevail more in the 2H. | cyberian
10/4/2024 08:27 | Nice 'bowl' forming here, by the looks of it. | hazl
09/4/2024 06:51 | 16 th April then! | hazl
08/4/2024 09:37 | Pleased to see a steadier rise on the chart this year. | hazl
04/4/2024 14:47 | Probably a wasted post but hey ho I guess that we have a couple of weeks or slightly more before we have the F/Y results. I think they happened around 26th April last year after a date was provided a week earlier.(17th April) The numbers are already in the bag as per the interim update in late January and only guidance is awaited. The positive momentum on increased margins late last year as stated by the CEO in January have hopefully continued and prospects are continuing to be favourable for growth in 2024 and 2025. It would also be helpful if the company is close to some further acquisitions in the US. The forward net debt position will have improved and that could help any bolt-on acquisitions. | cyberian
28/3/2024 15:41 | Roll on next week and we may benefit from a few silent posters recently. However, I do believe than many are long term holders and are looking at a substantial recovery in the SP,and more significantly evidence of increase in growth potential aided by some more bolt-on acquisitions. Interest rates are coming down which should help LTG management and again US growth looks encouraging. I like the management and the CEO appears to be a level headed man and that encourages me to hold longer term. | cyberian
27/3/2024 11:41 | Hopefully the company may announce another bolt on acquisition before long as DIPLOMA have just made a US buy on very favourable terms. The US market is the place to be with limited economic and political risk. Looking forward to April news. | cyberian
21/3/2024 12:43 | Looks like some are trading following some tax year end selling. Probably attractive with USA improving outlook and also China which may help sentiment and direction of share price travel. Looking forward to the Y/E update and full year results which from earlier update in January from the CEO was quite favourable. | cyberian
19/3/2024 11:34 | Agree, but a little greedy to catch the turning point which may be closer to 75p. than 80p. However, the recent price movements seem to hover around a support level at 80p. so on a purely technical play I may be tempted to buy a few more soon. Good to see you posting and I hope that other holders will come alive once we receive the final Y/E figures. They will not reflect the $21.4 million cash received in January, but I am sure that the projected net debt will be emphasized by the CEO, Jonathan Satchell as a positive. Hazi...I had better not spoil your bowl! | cyberian
19/3/2024 11:24 | It is a nice bowl forming though. | hazl |
