07/1/2024 23:31 | jeffian and hazi....I accept both your comments, and will await news from the company's update later this month...makes sense. | cyberian
07/1/2024 14:50 | Well I agree with both of you in different ways. I did notice that the sector was described wrongly, and it is not alone either! I also admire your enthusiasm too, cyberian . I know what it's like. Jeffian is right that often news will make the market sit up and notice, but to be fair some people might not know this company exists, without a bit of advertising it! imo | hazl
07/1/2024 14:35 | I'm not sure anyone even looked (I didn't) or cares. I assume that anyone invested or interested in LTG knows exactly what it does. I know nature abhors a vacuum but there's no need to keep on trying to fill it! I'm sure the thread will come to life again when there is some real news. | jeffian
07/1/2024 13:49 | hazi...thanks for your posts which are very welcome and appreciated. However,I wonder if it would help our cause and support of LNG to ask the board comment owner (ANDRBEA)to get ADVFN to correctly re-describe our SECTOR involvement as "lead Software house" and NOT "Real Estate Agents & Mgrs." as currently shown. It would not do any harm and in fact may well eliminate any Investor confusion! | cyberian

Since then we have had the acquisition and disposed of non core assets. | hazl
06/1/2024 13:36 | The financials at first sight are good improvements year on year. The liabilities have increased though likely dating from the acquisition I expect. | hazl
06/1/2024 13:26 | Cybrerian you raise some good points but we are at the mercy of the general market at the moment like everything else. The geopolitical situation is such that the market isn't always rational. You will get some companies rise on technical reason alone. If you think the company is worthy and has enough going on to get through the hard times then the only thing to do is to wait and see or sell if you desperately need the money. Good luck. | hazl
06/1/2024 12:48 | Knock Knock... | cyberian
06/1/2024 12:45 | Knock Knock...is everyone sitting on their hands and awaiting some positive news expected soon? GP Strategies acquisition was a really strong buy and difficult to understand why the share price dipped below 70p recently whereas above 140p level in anticipation of a significant purchase to more than support high growth from an experienced team at GP Strategies. Funny old markets but I have high hopes than the share price will regain some upward momentum in due course. It's sector has boundless opportunities and we are at last seeing stability in the key US market supported by Treasury Secretary Yellan saying yesterday that the FED has helped to engineer a "soft landing". I am also encouraged by an announcement yesterday that Citi bank is committing themselves to establishing an investment vehicle in China where GP has some significant opportunities for growth. John Pender in today's FT (back-page) writes a good balanced article with the key comment suggesting a change of greater emphasis in labour markets from purely monetary considerations to provide growth. | cyberian
03/1/2024 08:56 | Seems like everything going to plan without any hiccups and prospects will improve substantially this year. The 2H 2023 is noted as evidencing better margins and the US market has now stabilized and should now progress with increased revenues. Maybe time to add a few more after the surprise New Year fall. I may wait to see how the share price settles before the much awaited update later this month. However, in the event of any further fall we could easily see a T/O with the likes of Atlassian (TEAM) and one or two large US players looking to capture growth to add to their existing businesses and customer cross selling of services where growth in the sector is much in evidence. I single out Atlassian as they have been very aggressive buyers of companies over recent years with excellent management and I would respectfully suggest that in LTG we have a very experienced and capable team in place. An interesting year ahead, hopefully! | cyberian
03/1/2024 08:30 | Confirmation of sale. | hazl
19/12/2023 12:40 | Fair comment jeffian. I guess I am trying to validate my own impression/view as I had held at 110p and then decided to exit after a reasonable gain. I now have more confidence in management and their market growth potential mainly through GP Strategies acquistion. A few more bolt-on buys may help add even greater growth prospects. I will probably add a few more if we stay around 80p. Good wishes for Christmas and 2024 to those invested. Take care. | cyberian
19/12/2023 11:33 | There’s not much room for anyone else! I expect others will post when they have something to say. | jeffian
19/12/2023 10:03 | Pity in some ways that there are very few posters here, but then I believe most know the background story and happy to continue to hold. There have been a few portfolio swaps at the same price and some delayed "o" trades showing as sells. Once the share price recovers above 80p I think that we will see more interest with a market update due in the 3rd week of January as is normal. Again I still believe that other US majors are looking at LTG and its business plans for rapid growth through 2025 at least. The CEO has previously stated that other parties have been talking to them so watch that space. | cyberian
16/12/2023 13:14 | Broken my promise but sense a few investors here need to take some comfort on Goldman Sachs view that the US has turned the corner and as a result I think that we will see further news/action from LTG over the next few months. It is a bit of a climb to recover to the 100p plus as the fall was just part of general market uncertainty, and rather overdone. The share price probably needs a further bolt-on US acquisition to serve notice that growth is very much part of the management planning and development. Again any hint of a fall in the share price will encourage me to add before we reach 80p in the near term. | cyberian
14/12/2023 23:39 | Orange1....just goggle Learning Technologies Group and you can see every detail, History, Board of Directors etc. etc. Enjoy!! | cyberian
14/12/2023 17:34 | I've taken a long hard look but still don't see any mention of LNG services. Are you referring to Liquefied Natural Gas? | orange1
14/12/2023 13:18 | Hi Orange1. I suggest that you take a long hard look at their web site. Their market is a $100 billion so plenty of opportunities to grow and the US environment where they are very active is a big plus. Also I notice that Scottish Mortgage shares are on the rise as they have been strong in the Chinese market despite recent turmoil in the property sector. However, they have a lot of pre-IPO holdings and that will likely be unlocked with the mood change in the US and hopefully in the broader market. Our FTSE 250 is showing a big bounce as investors return to potential high growth opportunities. On LTG we may see some further positive interest as their recent set-back in share price value appears to have been well over done, but that is just my view and others may disagree. | cyberian
14/12/2023 12:58 | Enjoy your posts cyberian, do keep them up. | hazl
14/12/2023 12:57 | Is that a nice bowl forming? | hazl
14/12/2023 12:54 | What are LNG services? | orange1
14/12/2023 10:52 | Last post I promise, but with the new mood at the US Fed on interest rates which will help LTG and others, the US market appetite for LNG services should also gain. Restoring sight of growth back with LTG helps sentiment and we should see some marked improvements over the next year and longer. The sector is one that has huge appetite/potential. | cyberian
12/12/2023 16:18 | Added on fall below 72p but noticed many trades showing as sells on ADVFN are in fact buys. I do think that we will see a stronger move higher but sorry that we are attracting very few posters on the BB. I think that this will be my last for a while. | cyberian
11/12/2023 16:52 | Well at least I am a fan and will add again if these levels are maintained tomorrow, although there are often very wide spreads initially and one is advised to leave the share price to settle after the first hour. That is my experience for what it is worth....not much I guess!! | cyberian |
