What positive news could be turning this upwards again?
I know Next gave the retail sector a boost but the sector generally (high st not great)

You may not be...

You might still make a small profit , if he takes this private it would depend on how low it has to go before he does...
If it falls to almost zero then you could lose , if he thinks it has gone far enough maybe a small profit .
On the other hand he could just continue to draw remuneration ....

The issues here are
1. You have a very dominant shareholder for whom this was a trophy purchase. Hevhas millions of cash if you look at his Malaysian companies. This is very typical of what happens in Asia and there is no way any outside shareholder can effect any change.
2. The money is not lost or stolen on the Singapore building...Singapore has very strict reporting and rules...much tougher than uk...it is the last place on earth to do a fraud....so you can argue it's merits but do not argue it's a fraud as you will be wasting time
3. It's all down to when the owner gets bored....it's reasonably well run but needs a new direction and a clear strategy. This company is NOT going bust. But you might be waiting for Godot
