What a nice quiet thread. Good to see this share grow nice and steady. If you don`t like too much excitement this is ideal.

Added a few today. This is a quality business. Spotted this a bit late, but better late than never. Still good value at a little over NAV and a very low P/E. Should deliver $10 a share in a year or two in my opinion, from $7.50 at the moment

Funny how we've gone in completely opposite directions on this one - I sold as soon after the big director sale yesterday as I could for a small loss.

Good decision so far. Who knows long-term, but it doesn't look like the tracker buying is going to offset general sentiment, especially with large director share sales. Good luck anyway.

Bought back in at the lows today. Sweet to scalp with no stamp duty.

Oriel have initiated coverage with a 582p target. Reckons LRE have "underperformed the market rally by 25%." "Investment return track record is the best of peer group for 2008 and Q1 2009." Q2 results 29/7.

Perhaps, but with 6.7m shares to be bought by the trackers I'm hoping this will be a punt for some decent short-term upside with minimal downside. It's working a treat with ALN (on a smaller scale)!

I thought LRE would move closer to £5.00, could the initial backers be selling out, thus meeting 250 buyers? Any other views?

*I sold yesterday as I did not like the price action.

Square,

I saw your post on CR.

Is it correct that LRE join the FTSE 250 on the 18th June?

Bank of America - 11/6/09:

'We reiterate our Buy rating and price objective of 585p on Lancashire, offering 27% upside potential. Lancashire has underperformed the wider insurance market in the recent dash for beta and we believe the valuation remains attractive relative to peers. Lancashire is trading at a discount to its peers at 80% of fully diluted 2010E TNAV (Lloyd's vehicles at 90% of 2010E book value; Bermudian peers at 80% of 2010E book value) and at 4.6x 2010E EPS (Lloyd's vehicles at 5.7x 2010E EPS; Bermudian peers at 6.6x 2010E EPS). The company's imminent entry into FTSE 250 also makes it attractive to us from a technical standpoint. We expect demand to equate to about 14.5 days of average volume.'

How do you see the share price panning out?
