All will perhaps become clear with a statement at the AGM on the 3rd of May. Meanwhile so far this morning, if ADVFN details are accurate,74431 shares have been bought and 2811 sold.

hhhmmm hard to work this share out, last trading update was ok but since then has been in freefall. I brought in at about 220 and sold again a few days later when support was lost, was not sure at the time if selling was a mistake because it looked like 210 might be next level of support, now that has gone and next support level at 180 erk glad I sold now. On other hand the market as a whole has been on rocky ground if you have been going long over the last few weeks.

Would like to know as a percentage how much value Apple are to Laird? probably their most famous customer but margins could be tight to win work from them and the value could be less than the market as a whole thinks. Will continue to keep an eye on this share still looking to buy in at some point.

I think two things have upset this; Spectris profit warning this morning, and Apple selling fewer iPhone5s. Apple are a significant customer of Laird.

Dont often post on this board as LRD is very much in the buy and hold part of my portfolio. The long term drivers for the company's products are sound, they have a sensible medium term plan to grow the top line and increase margins and there's always the potential for an offer from private equity or another corporate buyer. I think that as long as your expectations arent to make 30%+ p.a. return or something crazy from them, then they're a decent LTBH

Thanks Sleveen, will keep a close eye on the share and as soon as there seems to be good prospects I will return perhaps even with a larger buy in than I had first time around. Hope share finds some support soon 205 - 210 would be good.

werty3 , I don't think anyone thought that LRD would fall this far, if support at 205-10 holds, then that could be a buying opportunity.

Have just closed out of this share. Guess should not have tried to catch a falling knife. Good luck to Churchtower and others who remain in. I am sure that the share price will recover, just not sure how long before turnaround takes place. Still have the opinion that the share is a good one to own and I will be watching like a hawk but think I will wait until a clear recovery is underway.

Buying level rather than selling from my point of view, but who am I to say. No apparent selling by Institutional holders who like me believe in the future of the Company. CH.

Ouch this is not going to plan might have to cut and run if no turnaround happens soon. Not sure why share is taking such a beating on the back of a fairly good trading statement or is there something I have missed?

No problem churchtower, looks like the pattern failed to work out this time anyhow, still expect the share to recover soon seems to have found support at least.
