Short term profit takers slowly being taken out ? This share is for the longer term investor I would suggest who are happy with an excellent dividend and exciting growth prospects.

P.S. Sammu post 1440 not voodoo - although I have tried to make light of it head and shoulder patterns are some of the most reliable measureable charting patterns and so it has proved in this case.

Co. certainly delivered on their promises to shareholders.

The short term target of 317 now looks more and more realistic. It makes you realise that following Brokers recommendations is not always wise. Investec must be feeling somewhat embarrassed today having issued a clients note on 12/8/13 downgrading Laird at 214p from reduce to sell with a target price of 180. CH.

This trading statement and the Vietnam/South Korean expansion confirms why I decided to invest in this Company. Good management team, exciting growth prospects over the next several years and an excellent dividend. CH.

Trading statement short but sweet as expected second half better results. Shame about the 5mill exceptional cost but at least it is a one off cost and looks to have been done for the right reasons to improve future profit. I was more intrested by LRD expanding into Vietnam and searching for new markets this I am sure will improve investment confidence. I am happy to hold and probably will add once and if resistance is broken at 300p

Just looking at sharescope and there does seem to be a bit of historic resistance at about the 300p level good news is if LRD can bust through that not much more in the way of resistance till 400p - 450p

EJ - Thought I was all alone here. Could give you some excitement on Thursday I hope. Closed on a further 5 year high today and has broken through the resistance line of the upward trend channel which commenced in late 2008. I continue to maintain my target of 317, which with this current strength is now increasingly a short term target. Regards CH.

Gapped up on opening to a new high. We haven't seen these prices since Autumn 2008. CH.
