15/1/2022 20:36 | Completely realistic to see Kromek at well over £2 by the end of the year following a few government orders for the detector. Similar situation to another AIM company Xaar which had difficult to value IP, which went from 20p to over £2. The difference with Kromek is that Kromek is selling to governments with very very deep pockets | aqc888
15/1/2022 19:54 | Suspect we will see a decent rise on Monday as people want to be ‘in’R | strategicinvestor2
15/1/2022 07:39 | I’d be surprised if after Kromek displayed their detector at military trade shows. After they conducted trials at airports schools etc at the beginning of the year. After the detector apparently performed well at its accreditation months ago. After the institute of Physics honoured the CEO for ‘ scientific advances of immeasurable significance, and commitment to the global advancement of security and our health’ and the Cambridge biological expert praised Kromek in an FT article for its detector. I would be very surprised if after months passing, following all the above, there is no progress of any kind announced at the interim results on Tuesday. Especially following the precedent at interim results last year where they chose to announce the good news of receiving £1.25m gov grant for the detector. The detector has been marketed on the Kromek website for months, if there were no sales or news of any sales it would be beyond bizarre. I’m extremely confident of news here, and if it’s combined with news of Kromek not being a loss making company anymore, as analysts forecast, then the risk of investing in Kromek will be much lower, while the future of Kromeks ip commercialisation will be much closer/greater. Kromek should have a dramatic re-rating if all unfolds as expected on Tuesday, especially with Simon Thompson and his ‘strong buy’ favourite tips on hand. Also seeing the article stating the US government want three different systems working in tandem together for bio defence, with so few players in this field (3-8) and Kromek trademarking the Kapscan name in the US recently. You’d think the potential for huge gains here is significant. Increasingly excited by Tuesday | aqc888
14/1/2022 15:15 | Lots of big trades going through makes me suspicious another placing is on the way. I'd be thrilled if ACQ's scenario plays out though. | ark87
14/1/2022 14:29 | An Oct 2021 link below with the article highlighting a report calling for the Department of Homeland Security to get rid of the current BioWatch system and urgently get new technology in place with timeframes for very specific target developments: 60 days, 90 days, 6 months and a year. KMK looks well-placed to play a leading role in the new replacement technology. I'll look at the forward results statements with interest but KMK for me is an exciting risk/reward play. It may require a bit of patience, so in the meantime, it would be good to see the existing businesses doing reasonably well whilst holders await the roll-out of the more exciting company maker technology. Inevitably, we will get a full update and the CEO is doing an investor presentation on the same morning as the results for analysts and shareholders. "Once biodetection technology receives a successful final evaluation it should be deployed within a year" | nick2412
14/1/2022 13:35 | Another x2 500,000 and x1 250,000 buys this morning | aqc888
14/1/2022 08:51 | I would suggest that if the detectors were as good as have been labelled then there would be no hesitation in getting them out there due to the seriousness of this bio climate. Why on earth would a company of this nature wait to release news like this (dangling the carrot) when their nature is to keep people safe. That just doesn’t make sense. | b00mb0y
14/1/2022 06:53 | As a reason to be optimistic about Tuesdays interim results and news on the biological pathogen detector... Last year Kromek waited for the interim results to announce a new £1.25m government grant to develop a covid specific biological pathogen detector... There’s been no RNS since October, which is a longer than usual gap. I’m optimistic there will be news Kromek have saved for release with the interims, with regards to the biological pathogen detector. We’re now in Kromeks stated timeframe for news here. Perhaps a little too pessimistic in my last post... I’d also add governments, unexpectedly had to close boarders yet again last month, due to the unexpected omicron wave, possibly focusing minds on Kromeks offering. At last year around the interim results the share price rallied from 11p to 20p | aqc888
13/1/2022 20:40 | Ark87, reading that back I think I may have had one too many coffees that day... I’ve a feeling there will be a very boring interim update. Something like we’re on track to not make a loss and commercialisation of the biological pathogen detector ‘is progressing well’, but no sales. I’ve higher hopes for some share price excitement from Kromek being in Simon Thompson’s 2022 bargain shares edition in early feb. Probably the best hope of unexpected good news will be from nuclear detector sales. Last RNS from Kromek was on 26th October. Hopefully there will be some news in the previous three months they might have saved till interim results on 18th jan??? A good chance something about the biological pathogen detector perhaps??? Will be an interesting Tuesday... The only thing I’m sure of is that Kromek is very undervalued for what opportunities it offers. | aqc888
13/1/2022 17:00 | I'm surprised there is not more excitement/volume here. According to ACQ we have a 35% chance of going "stratospheric" and 35% chance of seeing "only" 28p in coming weeks. That's a 70% chance of massive gains. "1)A government order has been received and they are continuing discussions with multiple other governments. Kromeks share price goes stratospheric, hit the headlines and see share price go beyond 80p within a week. It would eclipse the rest of the business. My assessment of this is a 35% chance. 2)Kromeks main business is slightly ahead of analysts forecasts and they are close to finalising deals with the biological pathogen detector. Even though we all know this to be the case already, as the ceo has already said this. When it’s announced with the interim results it’s likely to cause some excitement and share price will get close to 28p. My assessment of this is 35%." | ark87

12/1/2022 17:10 | Warren Quepassa Buffet, did you buy Kromek with the well-documented intention of holding forever - like Buffet? Does that mean you’re still holding the Kromek you bought at 58p? | aqc888
12/1/2022 16:11 | YAWN,thats fine stick to tapping on keyboards and piping your horn at strangers. | 1luckylee
12/1/2022 15:55 | Sorry i Didn't no you where comparing yourself to Warren Buffett, but I'm pretty sure he said something along the lines of buy a great company, hold it,and give it the time it needs to grow? What do you do when you think its grown to its full potential? | 1luckylee
12/1/2022 15:40 | Most certainly not. Some long-term investors just buy with the well-documented intention of holding forever - like Warren Buffet. | quepassa
12/1/2022 11:49 | Do we all not have an exit strategy for every investment we make? | 1luckylee |
