28/6/2024 08:06 | "2450 from 2430, increased is how I read it" unless i mised it they never made public the fact that they had reduced the offer to 2430 - feel free to correct me if that is wrong so many updates its easy to miss. So as far as was officially announced previously we were expecting 2550 - preumably on wednesday thewy cam back and reduced that to 2430 and the board presumably didnt update - preumably if they are thinking they might not need to. a token 20p increase today - all seems slightly staged imho so they can say imporved offer when the offer is lower than we were led to believe yesterday. Noote i could easily have missed something if that is teh case ignore my comments. Either way for me i am still 100% happy with the revised price - look where the shareprice was before tthe bid came along and where it is now - factor in softer trading and i would expect price to drop like a stone if deal does not complete. Obviously there is still uncertainty here - but hopefully deal slightly more likley than was the case yesterday. Ref other bidders i have to presume if they were interested they may have stepped up before now - thats guesswork though and perhaps one can argue in absence of current bidder paying top dollar thats saying to others iif they want it they can have it for 2500p for me i would just like this to complete pronto so i can move on - more sensible peeps than me would possibly sell now to be on the safe side if they arent happy with risk of holding back at 1560p price if this deal falls through? | rmillaree
28/6/2024 07:06 | Why would they drop out now? They are finalizing the docs now, and offered a revised price only a few days ago. | mortal1ty
28/6/2024 07:01 | If they pull out it be back to 1200p | trader465
28/6/2024 06:59 | 2450 from 2430, increased is how I read it Edit, please see post 3393 as what I have written above was incorrect! | redalert
28/6/2024 06:49 | Still... As always, any new bidder can emerge. Although I think management would have mentioned if someone else was doing due diligence. | mortal1ty
28/6/2024 06:47 | Yeh they have just sliced some off the price because they know they can. | mortal1ty
28/6/2024 06:40 | Done deal it seems. Agree the salami slicing is not on. | mr euro
28/6/2024 06:29 | Key point is they are reducing offer to 2430….wtf Not happy | hunter154
28/6/2024 06:10 | Dotting the i's and crossing the t's. Should move towards bid price today. If not I'm buying more. | mortal1ty
27/6/2024 15:39 | Deadline tomorrow 17:00 Unless they extend again of course. | luweiluwei
14/6/2024 08:41 | Only a two week extension so hopefully it is final stages. | chatchat
14/6/2024 06:15 | Pusu extension. Probably a positive. Suspect eqt are in final stages of due diligence and they've not found anything to walk so far... | mortal1ty
13/6/2024 18:27 | One would think that unless something significant was noted during due diligence, this would be fairly straightforward. The bidder has already put forward four previous proposals and therefore on the face of it seem keen. The latest proposal (no offer yet tabled) is one that has the backing of the Board, and, one assumes, the major holders since they will have been asked if they intend to back it. On that basis the any issue to me is if the potenti9al bidder finds something while reviewing the books that they do not find palatable. Otherwise it is surely a done deal. However, the market is pricing a significant discount, but I have been loading up despite the risk. | yasx
13/6/2024 15:35 | Close to a 20% discount to buyout price. That's a big discount. If this closes it shouldn't go through antitrust, it's PE buying it. So that big discount suggests doubt. Or it could just be random AIM bs. Being listed on the worst exchange on the planet has its downsides. | luweiluwei
13/6/2024 08:06 | the deadline is 15th so not due yet | chatchat
13/6/2024 07:43 | Can't see the announcement of extension? | thaiger
12/6/2024 22:37 | I notice SUMO (who were acquired by Tencent in 2022) are laying off 15% of staff. They are basically an outsource development studio so it suggest theres still some slack. | phowdo
12/6/2024 16:31 | Sure it has to be extended | aoiaoi
12/6/2024 15:33 | although the deadline can be extended by KWS | chatchat
12/6/2024 15:27 | That is a good question which I like the answer too! Have two days to decide before the deadline! | thaiger
11/6/2024 16:40 | deal or no deal? | chatchat
11/6/2024 15:42 | Very few stocks go down 1% per day as reliably as this one. | luweiluwei
27/5/2024 08:30 | This bid will come through. Too much money to be made here by private equity. Spend 4 years doing acquisitions. Get margins up by finding efficiencies. wait for gaming cycle to turn and then list it on the Nasdaq for 4x sales. | mortal1ty
24/5/2024 17:27 | Is it likely another bidder may arrive?. I do not know the sector vey well so are there any trade buyers who might find KWS an interesting prospect? Approx.15% gain from todays price if original bidder confirms a bid at £25.50. I have added a few in the hope that it happens at £25.50 or better. | bunlop |
