We have to be close to a bottom. The shares have tanked after post results bounce from the time that Nvidia did their Developer Conference a few weeks ago. AI will help and not hinder this company, albeit the translation will now be easier for companies to do themselves.
The key benefit of using KWS is that you have a one-stop-shop in a fragmented sector and as a game developer you can reduce staff and switch to pay-as-you-go model as opposed to having a high fixed cost (salaries).
Re translation, are the giants going to outsource everything and then do that in house? Probably not in my opinion.
The Chairman bought £55k worth of share at £16+ a few months ago.
I have no spare cash and have a full position at the moment but if this keeps getting lower, I am going to have to go in for more.

I get your point, but leaving localisation purely in the hands of a robot could lead to major screwup if wrong. The human intervention will be needed.
I think content, art services , liveops are safe. The real issue will be with language translation which may become redundant as the robot could that.

@hunter, I think that there will still need to be some human interaction but you can see how for example localization has changed over the past 10 years. It used to be all manual, translate, proof read then in game LQA. The translation AI tools now mean that they can get away with proof reading, LQA or even in some cases just LQA. The bulk of the revenues were in the original translation. Graphics and Audio will go the same and we are already seeing the customer service part starting down the route.

Thats interesting. Any marketing services company is likely to be in squeezed on that basis.
My gut feel is that you will still need human intervention.

I thought the AI risks were overblown but I had a play with Bing AI today and it is crazy how with a few words it can generate graphics. I asked it to create a set of cards with an Africa theme. Unbelievable. At this point I think game developers will be cautious about using it but it is clear that as the technology advances they will. KWS could use this but why would a developer pay for something they can do themselves with 1 or 2 artists? I don't think KWS will sink into oblivion but do thing longer term growth will be squeezed.

I wish someone could explain the price action to me. Lion Investment adding but lots of small automated trades managing to push the share price lower.
