Moving towards my entry point at around 1500. All the hi-tech 'growth' stocks seem to be seeing a bit of a revaluation so I don't think this is just about KWS. At the current price it is still at 28 PE which is about right for a growth stock. I don't think that AI will sink KWS but it could limit their future growth rates which could put further pressure on the share price, that said any good news on the revenues (and profit) could see this pop. At 1500 I think the risk/reward is about right (at least for me!).

Sounds like they have someone in charge of AI strategy (it’s a promo article for the OU Business School, but see end part of article ‘Looking to the future’) hxxps://tinyurl.com/mwz7nnza . Has a tech background hxxps://tinyurl.com/5h788ufv

Pretty good example of what is possible now with AI. Unity AI market place contains a number of verified solutions that you would think eat into Keywords business.

if the co has obligations to provide shares to staff via the EBT as part of reward package in principle KWS can:

1. issue new shares to the EBT i.e. dilute
2. fund the EBT so the EBT can buy from the market - unless, of course, the EBT is already awash with cash in which case why not use that cash.

The trade at 1348 was for one share and has been cancelled.

I have just done a search in google for KWS share price. It is showing 1348 down 26% on the day with a big move after hours. I can't see any trades at this level or any news so I am presuming it is a glitch. If it isn't I'll be buying in the morning. Anyone have any insight?

That is good news thanks for sharing. It might be that todays price is the best buying opportunity (I don't know). I don't think the impacts of AI will be felt for the next 12-24 months. I buy my shares on a long term basis which is why I am a little hesitant at the moment due to the uncertainty. Even at the current share price the profits need to increase by 250% to be fair value if it were a normal growth stock (It isn't currently it is high growth!). Your decision might be the right one!

And the head of EA. Seems to imply that AI will reduce the number of jobs in the same way that the industrial revolution did.

An interesting article on how AI might impact game development. Some of the items listed in this are KWS's current services. Again might not be negative if they can implement them short term but could be transformational in terms of the industry.

The sector has problems with shortages in employees. AI will alleviate this.
KWS is a leader in applying automated tools and AI.
The trend of outsourcing work, which is the big organic growth driver for KWS, will continue for KWS because it makes economic sense for owners of IP to be less cyclical.

The stock is now at historically low valuations.

We might as well acknowledge that, with respect to the effects of AI on Keywords business, we wii all remain in the dark until the company puts out a statement on the matter. Even then there will be, perhaps considerable, uncertainties.

I checked the short tracker and the disclosed shorts has doubled in May:

hxxps://shorttracker.co.uk/company/GB00BBQ38507/

There is definitely something going on that we are not aware of. I don't hold for now but if this falls sub £15 (and stabilises) then I will look to buy.

I think that you are right in the short term. If Keywords can embrace AI to reduce their costs and at the same time maintain their pricing then it is positive. For me the challenge is longer term, if AI can generate your graphics, audio, code(?) and translation as well as your player support then why do you need to outsource at all. AI is still in it's infancy and no one knows where it will end up but I think some of the key services provided by KWS are some of the kinds of things it is well suited for.
