26/5/2023 16:20 | In a nutshell I see the short thesis as ‘commoditisati | 74tom
25/5/2023 22:17 | I think the 'threat' to companies like Keywords from AI is extremely hard to know. Why can't Keywords use AI to make better services themselves? After all, their clients still want to focus on creating quality games, rather than doing every bit of programming for their production. An ideal writer of great games doesn't care about programming, only stories, concepts, adventure and artistry. Surely a tech co. like Keywords is going to squeeze all it can itself out of AI, as it's main purpose, not just wait to become extinct... | jdh1602
25/5/2023 21:36 | Think there are a lot of headwinds here. The gaming sector in general is struggling as the cost of living limits peoples ability to buy games. That will inevitably lead to less investment in games. AI has the potential to totally change some of the services KWS provide, Localization can already be automated but the move of AI into graphics could total change the need to outsource as well as code being generated by AI bots. Customer care could also be impacted. The last results were also 'flattered' by the strength of the US$ (they stated that in the results), as the US$ has fallen 20% against the EURO since then this will have a negative impact on the next results. A PE of 34.9 is ok for a growth company but if the results miss there could be a share correction to the more normal 14 of a tech company or 12 for services. I'd buy if they hit £15 but there is a lot of risk around these at the moment. Do your own research. | arborfieldinvestor
24/5/2023 14:43 | Buying here. Below 20x fcf. Very rare for Keywords to be this cheap. | luweiluwei
24/5/2023 14:37 | There goes 21. | encarter
24/5/2023 11:18 | It's just down on sympathy with Embracer group. Despite them being total opposites. | luweiluwei
24/5/2023 10:50 | Also forgot to mention, perhaps automatic selling via technical death cross now on the sma. | bulltradept
24/5/2023 10:28 | 4 hedge funds now short here; That's what caused the plunge & has prevented any kind of recovery. The next support below £21 is at around £18 (2019 highs, upside resistance during early Covid times) | 74tom
24/5/2023 08:34 | Agreed but if it breaks 21 next real resistance is about 12. | encarter
24/5/2023 08:17 | Tech getting hit? Aim stocks out of love, rescession coming? Game trends changing? Who knows. Major support in £21 region though. | bulltradept
23/5/2023 16:19 | Looking for an entry point but clearly something odd going on. | encarter
17/5/2023 17:47 | Jon Hauck , missed the fact he purchased at a reduced price and then sold them ! So really doesn't show the confidence I was hoping for . | haroldthegreat

14/5/2023 18:35 | According to Irwin Stelzer, studies in US conclude that 80% of jobs will be affected by AI.The worst affected occupation could be lawyers.Horrible thought. | steeplejack
12/5/2023 09:19 | Ifs a delightful moveable feast for Goldmans. We can all speculate as to how AI will shape the world. | steeplejack
11/5/2023 17:05 | It must relate in some way to the April Goldman Sachs report (mentioned earlier in this blog) on Companies which will gain and those that will suffer, I do not think that KWS is in the latter category but GS do! | aoiaoi
11/5/2023 16:25 | The exact reason behind last Fridays sharp fall in share price remains a mystery.... | steeplejack
11/5/2023 09:17 | Another good acquisition, announced this morning, has given the share price a significant surge. | aimingupward2
10/5/2023 08:10 | Just a thought is this a record initial purchase for ned ? | haroldthegreat
09/5/2023 20:02 | Thank you Ali for asking the question !!!!! | haroldthegreat
09/5/2023 20:01 | A very large purchase that inspires us all to top up ! Would have been a better idea to leave it till a later date . Perhaps his salary as NED is minimal and he cannot afford more ! He should ask for a rise ! I wonder if he took advice from other directors before buying . If I was the CEO I would have lent him 20K to buy them , interest free ! Perhaps after my comment a further 20 K purchase might be announced . He obviously wanted 25K and missed a zero off . | haroldthegreat
09/5/2023 07:36 | ned buy what to make of it | ali47fish
05/5/2023 21:56 | Good points all. | steeplejack |
