Kavango Resources (KAV LN) 2.0p, Mkt Cap £3.1m – Kavango selects new targets for 1,000m drill campaign

Kavango Resources has signed a contract mobilising a number of drill rigs to test targets in Botswana.

The drill program is for three vertical holes covering 1,000m on the Kalahari Suture Zone ‘KSZ’

The team plan to intersect conductor targets at depths of between 200m and 400m.

To save time and cost, the holes will be pre-collared to approximately 150m with reverse circulation drilling followed by diamond core drilling for better information on the geology below this point.

Management are hoping to find mineralisation in a 10km x 6km magnetic anomaly, which is interpreted as a potential magma chamber.

The other two targets relate to significant linear magnetic and conductive structures.
Water will be trucked in from a local town.

Conclusion: Botswana hides many interesting mineral discoveries under a significant depth of Kalahari desert sand.

Kavango hopes the use of modern remote sensing techniques will help it pinpoint mineralisation in anomalies of significant scale under the sand.

While drilling these targets feels a bit like wildcatting in the oil industry investors can rest assured that target generation is supported by a thorough analysis of the latest data.

What has surprised me is that Conroy will do anything to keep hold of his Gravy Train and as my figures show he is up to the 30% concert party rules so cant buy any more shares otherwise he would be doing .That doesnt stop him from doing another 10% private placing with Martello or getting Martello to go into the market and get the shares he would then be sure of victory.Of course he would be supplying the funds Martello would hold the voting rights .
Im sure you guys dont have all your legs in the same caskett next week is the last week where Conroy is expected to play the Dreaded Ace Of Spades ♠

If he buys 30 % he has to make a offer for the company and the fellow board members if reelected would breach company concert party rules.

Yes but Conroy could buy up to 30% then issue the requisition to remove the new board to be replaced with himself.Then he has his holding Martello Dr Sorca Maureen etc voting and hes back in .He then appoints them back onto the board.

Just a thought here .It looks to me bar any last minute placing or Martello buying a chunk of shares the current board are out .
But what is to stop Conroy buying more shares and then putting in a requisition to remove Alan Osbourne and the new board to be replaced by the old board !!
Hes a multi millionaire so moneys no problem and I doubt hes going to let this one drop.

Hi there Hoops you a right if we take into account the votes that were not counted last time .
I make it we currently have 28.55% V Conroys 30.26% im presuming that Dr S holds 2.5% Maureen and others 2.0% .
CONroy got 2% of votes last time giving him a grand total of 32.26% We have 28.55% plus everyone elses votes .If those figures are right the requisitioners are going to win !!!

I still think they need 5% more between them to secure victory and the much needed change .Thats a lot of money to stump up probably in the region of £50K .We have only next week left and then thats it cut off is Monday 14th October maybe we should all chip in and start to buy some to protect our investments as i think if i had to pick the winner as it stands tonight i still think Conroy has it just .
