If we take a look at the last result Conroy won by 4.5% now take into account Conroys recent debt capitalisation and the rebels will need a further 10% of the issued share captal to win.Its a big ask i dont think 4 million votes were not counted at the last EGM but maybe they were thats why they expect the vote to be very close. There will be further Directors Shareholdings rns i believe conroy is able to buy circa 5% more shares before becoming subject to concert party rules he wont buy until the very last minute putting the vote out of reach of the requisitioners .Then what happens is anyones guess if the rebels sell the share price will crash temporarily allowing conroy to orchestrate a management buyout extremely cheap and then coming back to the market after a year or so when the dust has settled to start the process over again.

I wouldnt be too concerned robemy imo since Conroy did the debt capitalisation the requisitioners are not going to win they dont have the votes .It would appear they are basing their hopes of success on the previous votes that were not counted they admit it will be very close which might be the case but i still expect conroy to win.

I just went onto the karelianshareholders website again to read the Lahtojoki Report published by Mr Grimmer. When I first looked at the scoping study it was 30 pages but now it's only 16 pages - why?Section 4 looks to have completely gone, what happened there? Did someone publish confidential information acquired from an ex employee? I must admit, when I first read this report I did think it a little strange that something like this would be posted for the world to see. This is not the level of competence I wish to have in charge of the company I invested in, be mindful of this if you intend to vote in favour of these resolutions.I don't frequent the advfn site but after the lack of comment on LSE I thought it was worth posting here.

Yeah, interesting point. Far more likely to be swapping holdings between accounts. Easier to sell from one account into market, and then buy with another account especially if they are different providers... Could make it easier from a proxy voting standpoint too means you don’t have more than one proxy form going off to the registrar..... Either way, the more important number is the change from 1 mln, to 1.5 mln shares. Far far more important than a mere 25k shares relatively speaking... L. L.

I'm sure its perfectly normal - just not seen it before and found it very confusing that it focused on the amount sold and not the amount bought or the change in % position.

I was actually interested to note in that RNS that it was felt necessary to state that he has bought some shares (number not stated) and sold some (number stated) and then list the %. I have seen others where the tr1 form is not shared but not ones saying he bought some and sold X.

Leave it there, Guys? Heaven knows what the unfortunate Taylor was doing - probably simply mucked up his paperwork or something. Sit patiently and await the vote, unless some further RNS/news emerges in the interim. Enjoy the weekend before the rain returns (purely a met office comment).

Couldn't agree more L. Sounds like project fear to me. The sooner the vote the better IMO.

Hoops, the Kdr website had Kevin on as a sig shareholder above 3% from at least start of June, probably even earlier. He had 1054000 shares out of 34489178 shares, which was 3.05%.. I’ve maintained a list of the Kdr shareholders since before June time. He’s been on all that time. Anyways a moot point. The main point is Kevin from the last RNS has increased his holding by 50% near enough which is pretty significant Clearly the battle is hotting up... L.

Hi Bonnie L is spot on and for the record our great company never had Kevin on the website listed as a major shareholder when we had the last agm. I also had to contact Maureen who left me off it a while back. Kind regards Hoops

Cats, As of the last egm, Kevin Taylor had slightly over 1 million shares. His current holding is now just over 1.5 mln shares. Kevin has basically added nearly 500k shares. You and ladybird need yo get your facts right before spouting garbage. If ever there were closet Conroy supporters, then you two have to be it Feel free to vote for the existing board. Can’t imagine your paltry holdings making much difference to the end result. L.

Hi Hooops Why is he selling 25k for then ? Going to be devastating for all concerned financially if you lose the vote by the smallest of catswhiskas 1 -25k shares ! I also think it looks strange and as if some sort of game is being played here .I wont be voting for proposed directors that are trading playing games with share dealings . ATB

KAV Kavango’s three projects in Botswana offer an excellent diverse potentialfor the discovery of nickel-copper-PGE, copper-silver and rare earth deposits. Listed on the Main Board of the London Stock Exchange (Standard List) - (KAV.L) The Kalahari Suture Zone (KSZ) Project, a 450km long N-S magnetic structure of continental proportions, is a large scale nickel, copper, cobalt and PGE group exploration project in the southwest of the country. It is similar in its geological setting to the giant Norilsk deposits in Siberia. Kavango recently completed two phases of airborne electromagnetic surveys covering over 4,000 line-kms in the northern part of the KSZ. Numerous conductor anomalies were identified and located on the ground; drilling of the most prospective targets is planned for late Q3 / early Q4 2019 The Ditau Camp Project (Ditau) is a 7km long magnetic body with corresponding geochemical and gravity anomalies approx. 50km west of the KSZ structure. It is one of 10 significant ring structures in the two Ditau licences. Two recent drill holes and the discovery by Falconbridge of a carbonatite in the area indicate a large area of alkali intrusive bodies. Carbonatites are generally associated with rare earth minerals. Whilst the Company continues to add value to the project with some low cost (within the current budget) geophysical surveys at Ditau, the medium term plan is to attract a joint venture partner. The Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB) extends in a northeast-southwest direction for at least 1,000 km from western Namibia to north-eastern Botswana. The KCB contains known sediment-hosted copper-silver deposits two of which are currently being developed into mid-tier copper-silver mines. Kavango will carry out geophysics surveys and soil sampling to identify copper hosting anticline structures. The KCB Project is the subject of a recently signed MOU with a private Botswana company, who hold two strategic but unexplored PLs in the KCB area, whereby Kavango can earn an interest in the two licences by spending funds on exploration. Conclusion Kavango’s three projects in Botswana, the Kalahari Suture Zone, the Ditau Camp Project and the Kalahari Copper Belt, offer an excellent diverse potential for the discovery of nickel-copper-PGE, copper-silver and rare earth deposits. Botswana is recognised as the best jurisdiction in Africa for business and with the Company’s very experienced management team the chances of success are high.
