The shuttle tanker cost $8m to charter for 3 months up to mid July. They are still using it, and looks like another 3 months at a minimum. The ongoing costs from the FPSO debacle continue to mount.

Stop moaning......everybody had the chance to buy in very cheaply......but now regret that they didn't. With this one down at these levels it's an odds on no brainer.

Spot on & what happened to potential acquisitions/bolt ons? I bought here for Blakeleys & team much vaunted skills in acquiring value add assets, now nothing mentioned on that front , what's happened to the regular "much activity in data rooms" that gave the impression one or two deals not far off. Or was that more "jam tomorrow " fudge to keep investors like me hanging on ?

Starting today.....Montara"The Company is pleased to announce that, following an investigation and assurance review into the 4S/5C tank defect, it intends to restart production at Montara on 1 September 2023.Production will be restarted from one well at an expected rate of c.1,000 bbls/d to recommission the FPSO's oil production system, followed by gas compression, allowing further wells to be brought back online within several days. At this point, production is expected to increase to c.6,000 bbls/d, the rate prior to the shutdown at the end of July 2023."

The market will need to see a good few months of incident free production before it relaxes about the valuation. No one wants to see any more RNSs that mention loan covenants. Fingers crossed for a better 2024.

Should be at 45-50p just to “recover”; to some sort of normalised valuation based on normalised production and assets. Hopefully, the Montana debacle will be soon consigned to history and we see a 6-12 month recovery to 100p + a share as Akatara comes on line next year.

Check out posters on LSE (before doubtless the board there gets trolled).
Currently the overwhelming opinion is quite rightly very positive, coming from shareholders that obviously know the company.......and have held during the recent bad times.
IMO their stated opinions of vastly increased value going forward are totally valid......and arguably even understated.

E43. Also made a significant purchase at 34p. Didn't buy sub 30, as, as you say, I want Blakeley to start walking the walk a bit more. He is paid handsomely and has made some very bad avoidable decisions recently. He's on watch.

Bought some sub 24p Winnet,but mostly relieved the larger previous purchase at 34p now back in profit,admit JSE has shredded my nerves this year,a real shambles to reduce to where we are ,confidence in management going forward 4/10,Montara Venture no idea.

The great RNS today was (stupidly, imo) virtually ignored as a great buying opportunity.......all things being equal JSE should motor over the next few months.

I've been buying from 27p ...missed the real lows...but now have 850 k shares....today's RNS was great news imo, so a rerate is due, imo. Hopefully Montara problem is now solved...... so soon up to 6k+bbo.....then there's Akatara to look forward to ......

Innit weird....every time that I have posted, I've been marked down by some cretin....and the share price goes up.....I reckon that there's a fair chance of 40 PPS by Friday close....( mark this one down, cretin!).
