Someone/Something is mopping these up like its going out of fashion.

For one reason or another the share price is being held down.

Plat,

That reminds me of the probably apocryphal story of an ex-politician who tripped while carrying Yehudi Menuhin’s violin, smashing it into pieces. Fortunately, Yehudi had a back-up violin. On enquiring whether he should carry the back-up, Yehudi said, “No, you can’t.” The ex-politician, on retelling the story quipped, “at least, I think that’s what I thought he said!”

I wasn't accusing you of lying, I was just pointing out what you said last week doesn't match what you posted this week.

"You said last week, you sold 153K shares as you needed to tidy up your portfolio and dislike odd numbers. I take it you didn't know you had the 135k you sold today. Or is your reason BS."

You have now admitted you made an error, which is fine with me.

Looks like PMs are taking a breather. Could be the pound’s turn however, to fall against the tangible stuff?

Very unlike you to enter such a trivial debate Sharenotes. I should probably let it go yes, but knowing myself, the temptation will prove too much at some point.

Okay, so you've spotted an error on your spreadsheet, pitty you never said that before and no I don't need any proof of your holdings.

One day we will all be wealthy when the market realises how undervalued Jubilee is.

Thanks Sharenotes. Yes, it was not I. I don’t get into spats with folk over such matters. I couldn’t give two hoots who’s bought what and when or didn’t as the case may be.

I’m just hoping we all do well out of it eventually. Some of us have been here long enough it’s about time we got some just reward.

In fact I have 3 accounts, 2 x ISA and 1 x dealing. I keep a tally on a spreadsheet as I only look at the ISA accs once or twice a year. On spotting my error today , and feeling a slight drop could be possible, I decided to round down to exactly 7m. I am more than happy to send a screen grab of my holdings to establish my position. This would go to a person we all trust on here.

Daniel, normally I would not get into this debate but, just so alwaysevolving does not wonder why you have cited him, it was actually me who made the trade. I have let this go; probably best it you do the same?

frog, surely when you logged into your broker account last week, it would have showed you held 7,288,000 shares. Yet you said last week you sold 153k as you dislike odd numbers and said that leaves you with 7m. So really that left you with 7,135,000 an odd number! which you claim last week was the reason you sold 153k.

It doesn't matter to me if you sell 100k or 7m, but I when I spot untruths I question, because what's the point in people posting I've bought/sold x amount of shares for this or that reason etc., when not accurate.

For those relatively new to the board, about three years ago, deme claimed to have been the buyer of one of the largest trades of the day. However, the actual buyer (alwaysevolving?) called him out on it. Protesting his innocence, deme promised to provide photographic evidence to prove himself, then he went quiet for a while lol.

Anyway frog, I am like you i like even numbers but find myself short of cash to round up to the nearest mill, won't be selling any to achieve it though
