THE BAD NEWS:

A year or so ago, our losses that we carried forwards stood at over £50 million.

Once this allowance is used up by our new found profits, we will have to start paying corporation tax, around 28%.

It has to come, one day, alas 🙄

The $1,079 cost to produce adjustment was what was needed to get the BBI average to match our actual earnings between 31/12/19 - 31/06/20 inc.

Which perfectly matched our PGM earnings as announced to us in the RNS.

BBI at current PGM price overstates what JLP receive by about $3-400/oz.

THS (Tharissa mining) PGM/oz is a better comparison.

I also understand that the BBI is for illustrative purposes only ;-)

FULL YEAR EARNINGS:

PGM - 40,764 oz produced £20,666,000 earnings
CHR - 378,244 T produced £392,000 earnings

figures taken fron RNS 7351S 13 July 2020


IF we assume for next year:-

PGM - 60,000 oz, BBI average of $2,200 minus c.t.p. adjustment of $1,079
60,000 x $1,121 = $67,260,000 or £50,571,429 earnings.
