More interested in the volume. MMs can't hold price back for long on big volumes.

Bid went up to accommodate someone or entity. No other reason to have it there.

I'd say the inexperienced investors are those that hung on faithfully while the share price tanked downwards from 22p to 5p over a more than 2 year period ever believing in the "jam tomorrow"

Merafe declares cash dividend on record profit, elevated chrome

JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Ferrochrome and chrome company Merafe achieved a record profit of R1 753-million despite what it describes as a challenging economic environment in the 12 months to December 31.

Draslovka do what Jetti claim to be able to do... we are way ahead of them, TH. At present though the ROM piles are more commercisal than leaching low grade tailings and opes.

@Frog, whilst I know it is tempting, poking the Bushy bear over on the HUM board is only asking for trouble....

I listened to a Kitco interview with Jetti Resources who are a leaching tech company working with Freeport. Jetti are the same as JLP in that they aim to recover copper from waste. Jetti have just raised $200m to progress their development. Jetti claim to be able to add a sulphide leaching unit to the concentrator.
It appears to me that the copper waste recovery business is a worldwide developing new segment in which JLP has a very good foothold.
The question is will JLP work with miners or will they continue developing and owning their own.
These days it is the software companies that get the better valuations: being bogged down with trying to own the the facilities is harder work.
Licensing the software on a per lb produced basis seems to be a real winner.
Let's ask Leon how things are progressing.

Next numbers not due until mid May but they've been running over 2 weeks early on the last two so maybe end of April.
I still don't think we are 'overdue'any news just yet. If they did conclude the IRH deal exactly on the middle of March then we would expect a few days before the RNS would hit. I'd expect this week at some point but even then I'm not worried.
As Pshevlin said, the IRH deal is icing on the cake really and the share price will react far more on Roan completion - that's the one we want and end of April is getting closer.

If you want to hear about copper and our margins vs LME, potential volumes etc. then the Sunday roast interview on 'Mufulira Slag Project update' (from Nov I think) is brilliant (it's on the JLP website).
Also, the company presentation from Nov 23 is quite good to listen back on. Things have progressed - we didn't even have an owner for Mopani at that point.

Have confidence - buy more if you can :-) Not financial advice obvs.

Price mainly down a bit because of all the options last week. There has been plenty of buying on here and large numbers at that . 715000 (edited) today probably also related to the options. If news is actually due I can't see why anyone would sell at this point. Re HUM, absolutely no correlation. Hopefully we will get an update from LC this week if Charles gets him on his broadcast.

News is overdue again. That is why the price is declining. Cu and PGMs are up but here we are. Pretty sure that's nothing to do with my posts. In the past, we were more relaxed, but since the infamous "death, water and power" RNS, we are rightly less trusting. Simply put, no news is not necessarily good news.

Can't be far off the next set of numbers and, unless there has been some major problem (which we would/should have been made aware of), that in itself should have a positive impact on the share price
