leon has a history of not meeting self-imposed deadlines. that's not just my opinion.
i am v bullish and yet lc keeps missing the bull.
of course the market will see this and factor it in
investors will be fritted and we can see that in the trading patterns
this evokes disappointment - expectably so.

I wouldn't look at them as buys or sells because at the end of the day they are both - simply a trade between two parties. The key thing to note is the price they execute at. If the ask is 5.9 and people are having to pay the full amount or 5.88 and above then it is a good sign for a possible rise if we have enough volume and frequency. If people are able to buy around 5.85 then not so much demand. The indicator, as sb says, is simply which side of the mid price they execute at.

The buy/sell indicator is an artefact of the BB operator, ADVFN, LSE etc. Look on the real LSE site and they are just reported as trades with no attempt to indicate which they are. It is purely based on which side of the mid-point of the advertised spread that the trade takes place and that can be manipulated by the MMs in order to make the market appear to be trending one way or the other, when the real spread is often way inside that shown. I think they should all stop doing it as it is more misleading than useful.

Many if not most pi's when looking at todays trades would think the first two trades were sells, but frog has proven they are in fact buys, which could mean all trades so far today are buys bar for trade #13 but I could be wrong. It just goes to show we can easily be fooled.

I think often it's the brokers and not the MMs that cause this. For instance you see a trade being listed as a buy but then see one listed as a sell when they are in fact both buys it's just that the broker that allowed a buy to go through below the mid price and most likely had a sell order to fill so dropped the buying price slightly to help fill it and the same can happen when a broker has a buy order to fill they could offer the seller a price slightly above the mid price so will show as a buy.

I think it's only when the trade (either buy/sell) is over a certain amount that the broker then communicates with the mm's.
