The market and myself are assessing that JLP's chrome operations are now running at a loss in January.

Only £169,000 profit was generated from producing 186,249 tonnes of chrome concentrate and with prices still falling, towards the end of year report, the profit will turn to a loss. The signing of supply contracts precludes us from hoarding inventory untill prices recover.

Perfect bid target with the improvements if share price does not react and show a fair value .

Share purchase by Leon? Not in God's lifetime. The market does not care that he has got millions of options they only see that he only holds 27,000 and would not buy at 1.5p.

Well the share price has done quite well on the run up to these results so for there's some profit taking and the metal prices are off their best from a week or so ago. The numbers look good. With some positive press and some share purchases by Leon I think the share price will continue to climb but don't expect a 'whoosh'

Lots of punters sell on the news regardless . This looks good to me so be patient . When sellers are absorbed there's only one way to go

Don't forget the figures are earnings and so there's ITDAG&A to take into consideration before a pretax profit is derived.

Muted response:

Don't forget the share price is up circa 60-70% from the lows of August 2019 in expectation of today's figures.

Current share price is up with events given JLP's history (even if you've only been invested in JLP for 12 months).

China hit by the virus. This is bound to affect the metals market. Many do not seem to appreciate that this company is a money printing machine, almost irrespective of the metal prices in the global market.

Usual sell on the news.
Should push up this afternoon.

I will add that JLP will have the confetti cannon cloud over head. No matter how profitable JLP are you can never trust Colin.

A very muted response , disappointing. Not sure what is required to propel this on significantly. Some trust in no more dilution would help but then again I am all in favour of expansion providing it is revenue generating. See you in 6 months!

"...Chrome revenue growth of 35% to GBP 9 million..."
This is for me the ultimate in a very solid update. To manage a steady growth in the current chrome environment, where mayor players are closing shop, must say something about our ability.

Edit: I am in for the long-run
