21/3/2019 08:45 | “300K shorted first thing.“ A lamb to the slaughter. You wait for them to report earnings of £2m for January and February so £3m for Q1, up 38% quarter-on-quarter, after a ropey start to the year at Hernic and before earnings from DCM fine chrome reach “commercial | goldibucks

21/3/2019 08:27 | !YOUTUBEVIDEO:Z1Lctx To sell a stock short, you follow four steps: Borrow the stock you want to bet against. ... You immediately sell the shares you have borrowed. ... You wait for the stock to fall and then buy the shares back at the new, lower price. You return the shares to the brokerage you borrowed them from and pocket the difference. | ![]() sweetfookall
21/3/2019 08:25 | I searched last week for broker notes and couldn't find any. No mention on the Shard Capital website neither or Jubilee site: Surely Shard haven't only emailed the pdf to those registered with them, have they forgot to add to their website or even inform Jubilee?? The Skipper, would appreciate a link, TIA | ![]() freedom97

21/3/2019 08:14 | I could totally understand why jlp were reluctant to release the update earlier if it meant bmr would offload into any price rise. It's taken longer but at least they've had to accept a lower return. Market slow to catch onto yesterday's news which may be down to the selling activity of bmr. If cleared then perhaps a rerate on it's way. | ![]() boris cobaka

21/3/2019 07:48 | £2m of project earnings for Jan and Feb is £3m for Q1 and that’s a 38% improvement quarter-on-quarter. That’s without any month—on-month improvement in Hernic, without any contribution from DCM fine chrome, without PlatCro PGMs, without DCM PGMs, and without Kabwe. Please can somebody tell me another quoted company delivering this kind of stellar quarter-on-quarter growth, with this exponential growth potential, with such a low market cap to annualised profit ratio? £30m market cap / £6m of annualised profit = 5 and no tax to pay for years. £6m annualised profit is £2m project earnings for January and February x 6 - £6m of central costs and interest. | goldibucks

21/3/2019 07:33 | I think that the ability of anyone on these threads to be able to find this report easily just sums up how bad the comms are! Hopefully this will be reissued with an update and hopefully to a larger audience! | ![]() goingforarun
21/3/2019 07:33 | “Nothing is going to be back to normal in March”. Part of the slowdown will be seasonal as happened last year and things did go back to normal. Jubilee are saying normal production levels resumed in March on 20 March so presumably they have or it’s going to be embarrassing for them to report Q1. From the last business rescue update, Samancor are still negotiating with Eskom on the Hernic power contract. Maybe things will improve when that contract gets signed. Why wasn’t PlatCro chrome affected by load shedding? They originally reported USD $5.5m of ongoing earnings PlatCro chrome, it’s already up to USD $7m. | goldibucks

21/3/2019 07:31 | Plat pretending that Jubilee haven't already spent loads of money on Kabwe, with all the planning and testing involved.
