As soon as JLP release news and allows BMR to update, that may take the shackles off.
Now we continue with the mushroom theory.

Krypton BMR still have 17 million to work through. They placed 800k this week for orderly matches, you'll see them as LRGS flagged trades by week-end or Monday

What if BMR stopped selling weeks ago? What can you blame the supressed share price on now?

Partly agree.. Shares are news and results driven but what else can you do on that front but wait for the quarterlies. The days of an RNS when whenever someone farts are over, thank goodnessHowever the overhang is not irrelevant... the size of the market is only 150,000.I think you're underestimating the magnitude of the overhang some what.

Plat, still disagree, the share price is driven by perception of future value and unless there is enough news to drive increased demand and ownership of this share then the 17m is irrelevant?

Goinforarun the market size is only 150,000 so of course 17 million will destroy the market if they're not dealt in an orderly fashion.

Not convinced the overhang explains the lack of movement? It’s only 1.3% of the stock? This needs news to drive demand? Actual trading volumes are pitiful!

It was a frenetic time – lecturers were running around dreaming up new questions for the final exam students. One of the more observant lecturers noticed that the economics professor had his feet up in the staff common room, casually reading the Sporting Life. “Why are you not busying yourself,” enquired the lecturer. The professor looked bemused. “Oh, I guess you are referring to the preparation of the final exam papers.” “It’s straight forward really – I don’t have to set new questions, I simply have to come up with new answers!” Well come the 29th March, there are a few new answers for gold – expect some positive action (pricewise) in the PM markets in the ensuing months.

The lack of movement is a 17 million overhang of shares being sold in an orderly manner

Leon, you do realise that if the next RNS is not GREAT, the jubilee share price will freefall. If the next RNS gives no indication why no news was released earlier for fine chrome etc, the share price will freefall. Either there is great news and tie ups for jubilee or hold on.....down she goes.

Goldi, a more verbose way of describing disappointment. Now factor in the ‘human’ element, particularly those investors with a nervous disposition.

“The malaise in JLP's share price is exacerbated by the silence from the BoD.“ The low share price is caused by 16 years of losses, little delivery apart from Hernic, regular setbacks, and the BOD talking too much and failing to deliver. Shutting up and focusing on the business is exactly what they should be doing if investors want to see the share price go up and stay up.

AcesHi,

"who's position and prediction has remained more constantly accurate, over the last 18+ months?"

So what was your username before you created 'AcesHi' just 11 months ago?

"Do you seriously not understand that at this stage, share price performance has almost zero to do with posters on boards"

Well, you mustn't, as why do you feel the need to post 24/7 even at weekends your getting up early to post. Why would anyone in their right mind do that, when it certainly doesn't help your investment here, just the opposite.

Get a Life! Enjoy life!

“we will update the market on Kabwe before the end of Q4” Hopefully, they will learn from that and not do webcasts and pointless RNS announcements going forward. No CEO can promise to update the market by a particular date on a deal that’s hasn’t been done. They should stick to interims, finals, 4 quarterly production updates and what they are legally obliged to RNS. They aren’t polished or corporate so webcasts make them look amateurish. The numbers should do the talking.

The malaise in JLP's share price is exacerbated by the silence from the BoD. The history of JLP is littered with ‘shareholder disappointment.̵7; Such disappointment (legacy) is easy for many to project into the future, particularly within the backdrop of silence. Silence will be filled with something and that something litters these boards. Even the most ardent supporter will harbour some doubt, no doubt? Psychology plays a larger role in influencing share price trends than the ‘numbers’; fraternity would have you believe. No matter, JLP has no choice but to break the silence soon. Not long to wait now.
