'Putin's only just started!' Russia could 'conquer big chunks of Europe' - Boris on alert

VLADIMIR Putin could "conquer big chunks of Europe" in the event of a successful invasion of Ukraine, with Boris Johnson warned Britain must double its defence spending if it is to stand any chance standing up against Russia.

"Errrr let’s see yours first ??"

1) One doesn't answer a question with a question.
2) I already did, which resulted your 18 Mar 2022 - 17:57:15 - 1206 post, to which I responded: "why don't you provide your calculation for consideration?"
3) Your lack of sensible reply is enough of a clue. Back on filter you go.

The world today stands in a very bad place

edge of the abyss a push away from space

the end of times when all the clocks stop

so no more tomorrows no more tick tock

will sanity prevail when madness rules on its own

Nobody knows --- we're now in Earths twilight zone

I get the feeling that Russian troops are definitely less motivated than the Ukraine's. The Rus. soldiers know they have invaded a country that is not theirs. And many are 18-23 years old & doing their compulsory military service & with little training & no experience; & with little/no interest in invading Ukraine.

While the Ukraine's are fighting to defend their towns & country.

Russia might also want Ordesa & that coastline.
To cut Ukraine off from the sea. And hence have power over Ukraine wheat & maize exports.

Amaretto - there's definitely a vicious battle going on in Mariopol, a city of half a million people.
This seems to be turning into a nightmarish Stalingrad-like battle amongst the rubble, with thousands of civilians caught in the middle of the fighting.
It's difficult to believe that the Russians will agree to a ceasefire until resistance ceases in this area and they have their land bridge to Crimea from the Donbas.

But there seems to be an impasse across the rest of Ukraine, I agree.

Russian companies are still most probably getting in $2bln of forex every day from the sale of their various commodities while virtually all of the Russian governments expenditure, even fighting the war with Ukraine is in local Roubles.
