A virus that has battered us has nothing to do with stocks going forward if it fades away like all others?

Wakey wakey

I think that it reflects poorly on those individuals and has nothing to do with Jet2 or discussions about stocks generally.

This Festario bloke is getting ripped to shreds on the VRS thread, sounds like he's a bit of a song.

with no change to the methods in insight..more cases = just double down lockdown and restrictions ..loads of infections but few deaths ..hmmm something is different from 6 months ago..maybe the penny will drop at some point .

sold out the sub 7 quid plays at 7.36 yesterday and 7.68 today..will buy on weakness.. I really struggle to see the 6 month numbers being anything but ugly reading..but would imagine they are managing their cash better than most ..so a survival of the fittest play is a possibility..all this is being caused not by a virus but the draconian measures being taken ..crazy

It's always an uncertain affair hence it's key to manage risk. I have a 4% risk here with SL set at 660Will see ...

I am not - I expected this when we tested 1000. Be interesting to see where things will go from here

Just wait for the interims, they will be dire. A vaccine is not going to be available for another 12/18 months so unless CV19 miraculously disappears on its own accord soon, next summer will also be a wash out. Jet2 will need more cash at some point, its inevitable.

Surely this recent strength has to be a survival of the fittest play.

The danger is lack of forward visibility?
Lots of people kicked the can down the road but only parts of Greece left for holidays. Half term will not happen and the wage bill will soon increase.
If it gets near to 800 p it should pull back. It’s not worth half it’s peak value . Is it??

Prospects growing for airport testing

Saw a comment on Pistonheads the other day that now is the ideal time for someone to begin planning a new travel company - hordes of human and physical assets going for a song.

A;lso saw this morning Wizz (one of the less encumbered operators) Sept figures are down 60% year on year (capacity down 40% compounded with load factor down 30%).

Csmwssk, no idea how you have come to this conclusion of a takeover and what do you mean relating to Jet2 running profitability?

anyway..I don' t have a crystal ball..but looks like the position was taken on the 30th which would suggest around the levels of 640..maybe..so it's not looking great of the bat ..approx 700k down already
