01/10/2020 08:22 | dtg with a differentvname | ccraig69
01/10/2020 08:05 | Apologies if this has already been asked or if it's a stupid question.... Presuming JET2 is now entirely the airline side and not just DTG with a different name? If that's the case, regarding the share price, to what extent did the non airline side of DTG contribute to the price of the stock.. and going forward will that hold it back to any degree? Once we're out of the woods with the virus of course. | npp62

29/9/2020 07:31 | ..... and despite being slower with refunds than even Ryanair, a lot of people still have high regard for Tui. | scottish007
29/9/2020 07:24 | I hear you CT. Debt of course is hugely significant. Like Jet2 however, l would say their potential earnings are not truly known as the uplift from the demise of the real Thomas Cook has not as yet been fully realised. So for me those looking to take on a travel company may well see value in Tui, after all it is still Europe’s biggest. | scottish007
28/9/2020 22:40 | Scottish How much debt have Tui got? What do you think they can make in a normal year? | castleford tiger
28/9/2020 21:46 | Gotta disagree re Tui. Yes it’s financially honking but it’s both saleable and saveable, especially given the loss of ‘the real‘ Thomas Cook. My two bob will remain with Jet2 but there will be big money waiting to pounce on Tui. | scottish007
28/9/2020 17:49 | Jobs going Scottish imho?? grapevine my friend in the know. | senn1
28/9/2020 08:51 | agree CT, TUI are all but finished..the balance sheet must be a car crash ..supported only by German intervention..why would anyone buy a share in them is beyond me ..shame as not a bad company .. | snorkelparker
28/9/2020 08:42 | senn 1 agree totally ..3 weeks from now will paint the picture ..tons of testing lots of so called infections and f.all deaths..then the likes of Chris Witty will have no clothes ..its going to be simple right or very wrong .. | snorkelparker
28/9/2020 08:34 | Given their values of thinking like a owner this is a good thing right? | our haven
27/9/2020 17:20 | Odey has 5%. approx 9m shares. According to holdings RNS. | eeza

26/9/2020 17:47 | would not surprise me one bit if this turns on its head well before year end Virus I mean at the end of the day it's been made a meal of 24 7 Folks are as thick as pig dodoo who can't see it | senn1
26/9/2020 17:43 | Well your ignoring the elephant in the room mate the virus As history teaches us they due out and get weaker if that's the case now with rising cases but hardly anyone getting on then what?? next 2 weeks has the answer imho And odey will have the inside track. Vallance made a big lie the other day when asked about the virus getting weaker His reply was the data does not say that. Blatant lie as you have no data yet after a week or so of rising cases the lit of them are as bent as a 10 bob note imho | senn1
26/9/2020 17:28 | SENN I noticed it. My view is all the rest are doomed. TUI will go the same way as TCG as its debt is now out of control. I see NO reason to take such a big stake at this time. This thing might wipe out 2021. JET2 have no control only BJ and he will have gone in a year max. tiger | castleford tiger
26/9/2020 17:20 | Tiger Odey buying a shed load do you not find that interesting knowing the bojo connection? 50 mill is not a small amount to invest at this stage unless he knows something we don't??? | senn1
26/9/2020 16:22 | CT,I wonder how much those folk who are traveling are having to fork out? Totally unsustainable load factors. EZJ reported reasonable numbers around the start of summer - but then in early September said they would fly just under 40% of usual schedule, just behind restated targets. They Announced significant load factor in Q3 trading statement but I reckon even they are struggling to make those numbers now given the constant uncertainty around travel.Cash | cashandcard
26/9/2020 14:46 | Mentioned before but a very good friend is a driver for Ryan. Brought 22 back from FARO yesterday. In the last 4 weeks his lowest was to Barcelona 9 pass and averaged is 35/40 on Portugal and all spain trips. That's on a 189 737/800. It just cannot continue. I am really surprised that Jet are still flying from most airports to Faro. It makes no sense to me. The returning Leeds flight today at lunch time had just 26 pass on board. This cannot be paying so why are we doing it? I am baffled. Tiger | castleford tiger |
