22/9/2020 02:25 | was a buyer yesterday, where ever people can fly, the planes are loaded with increase schedules. This tells us people want to travel as soon as this madness passes there is a pent up demand. Jet2 are holding it together, conserving cash and managing their way through this.. Tui are toast in their current form, not sure exactly where the new debt levels are but they are insolvent if not for multiple bailouts, capital raise at what valuation ? i wonder if they go down that route or will the Germans just continue to bail out. They are weakened possibly beyond recovery to anything near their former status. Lease back there assets will only increase final costs and cant see that being a particularly attractive proposition for financials at this point in time. The opportunities will be huge, Jet2 have demonstrated the ability to grow at pace and fill in any gaps in the market, i just don't see any other player to touch them on this front. Time to get back to nearly normal stop the scaremongering and live life. By the time a so called vaccine arrives the virus would have run its course, but that will give people comfort .. just hope it doesn't end up being a problem down the road when the next one comes. | snorkelparker
21/9/2020 10:56 | listening to witty and vallance So we could have 50k cases per day without action now soon ok. So what are you going to do Boris, you will prob restrict pubs ECT opening times ECT. Well that's what you should have done 2 months ago you toool instead of returning all at once without restrictions. But hey hold on if rising cases like now do not get much worse and not many getting il like now then they were right, and can then say we cracked it virus is weaker life goes on normally is this the plan hedging plan?? | senn1
21/9/2020 09:36 | Now you're talking pal - always makes sense starting with a short horizon in mind. The trading equivalent of "hope for the best and prepare for the worst". Yes TUI is tapioca and if we get past this terrible c19, dtg should emerge in a v strong position. Wish you luck. | tongosti
21/9/2020 09:17 | It’s a trade that may become long term if we don’t trade the 600/800 channel that we have been in. Longer term TUI loaded with debt are going to struggle. I heard much negative about Thomas cook last week as the feeling is the brand is damaged. Let’s see | castleford tiger
21/9/2020 08:41 | Me too... except I can't resist adding to IQAI and SNG at these levels.Jet2 will wait for me. | festario
21/9/2020 08:37 | Wish you good luck pal. Have said for months here that 700 should hold BAR a major leg south in the wider markets. O/N action in SPX would mark today as its 7th distribution day. Personally, I have bailed out of everything (with my individual positions being closed last week) being 100% in cash. | tongosti
21/9/2020 08:08 | Just bought a total of 10,500 shares at 642 average | castleford tiger
20/9/2020 20:11 | Yeah the canaries are important or l’ll be sitting this one out over winter. | scottish007
20/9/2020 19:04 | hTTps://www.express. | davebowler
20/9/2020 10:50 | Well if you can't fly to those 2 destinations come 5 weeks time were in a pickle mate. nowhere else to go is there?? | senn1
19/9/2020 18:50 | duck off heart tim | senn1
19/9/2020 15:35 | Hopefully that won’t be necessary | scottish007
19/9/2020 15:13 | If no canaries in winter or spain come Nov are all staff going to be laid of Scottish short term? As tbere is nowhere to fly to in the winter programe?? | senn1
18/9/2020 20:22 | Don’t disagree Senn but l l’m maybe more of an optimist. I reckon as soon as good Covid news breaks, l simply won’t have enough money to spend on travel stocks - especially Jet2. | scottish007
18/9/2020 19:06 | This stick and the market in general remind me of a boxer on the ropes keeps getting sacked but managing to stay up, sooner or later it will fall heavy imho More so the overall market | senn1
18/9/2020 11:39 | I like the bear analogy, very apt. | festario
18/9/2020 11:33 | More lockdowns coming. I guess JET2, EZJ and the others have taken care of their finances with winter in mind. IAG are the real losers, their bosses have dithered and shareholders are paying the price for a belated raise. But Winter will be bad all round. Its really a question of survival of the fittest. All you need to do when being chased by a bear, is make sure you outrun the bloke nearest the bear. Whichever airlines get caught out by this pandemic and finished off, can only serve the others who make it out alive. Cash | cashandcard
18/9/2020 09:55 | agree But this will get dragged lower imho 5.50 poss, winter is a non starter unless our theory comes to fruition and bojo has a big we have cracked it virus is weakening moment before year end | senn1
18/9/2020 09:42 | it's all down to selective media..French hospitals where swamped in October last year ..did we hear a peep from the media ? nope ..Corona and flu they tend to be more cases in autumn but it will be manageable as most that where unfortunately vulnerable have died ..I'm not an expert so let's see how it pans out ..but a buyer today on this drop..jet2 still financially healthy ..the weak indebted players starting to really feel the pain . | snorkelparker |
