Half, quarter, whatever fraction. Doesn't matter. Provide a quarter or two of steady production and the market will doubtless react more positively, as it should.

I'm wary of 'testing flow rates' after what TXP has delivered to date with Cascadura (actual production below tested flow rates) so I guess in that context market is fair to be wary. Still, reads like a positive to me.

+7% on 2x flow rate? I'm assuming the tested flow rate is achievable to hit long term without strain and another sales agreement wouldn't be difficult?

This RNS surely is so they can start looking for new sales agreements.

They could do with banging the drum and generating some interest to try and clear out all the stale bulls. Perhaps they will talk up Akatara once its up and running.

The market probably needs a few more weeks (or even months) free of banana skins for a re-rate. If you think the worst is now behind JSE it certainly looks like a solid summer hold.

Am I allowed to be slightly disappointed in the share price reaction to todays very good RNS? I guess the recent past still clinging to the company. Hopefully onward and upward from here and fwiw I have bought some more for the first time in a long time.

Other than the poorly managed, huge value destroying mistake made with the inspection, maintenance and remediation arrangements for Montara Venture, the Company has performed very well at buying, operating and developing attractively priced high quality assets with reinvestment potential since I became a shareholder immediately following the London IPO.

The Montara debacle with be a chastening experience for Blakeley and the team headhunted from Talisman Energy, where they built both the North Sea and SE Asian start-up businesses from zero to over 140,000 boepd in circa 10 years.

Currently, four out of five well workovers have been completed and tested at an aggregate stabilised rate of c.30 mmcf/d, ready to deliver the gas production required to fulfil the daily contract quantity under the gas sales agreementSo the last well added 24 mcf/d ....
