Interesting discussion here in the piworld interview with Andy Brough

Reach is the one that is heavily tipped at 21m15s but digital advertising and ownership of the content is his crucial point and has relevance to ITV-

pwddlers: No I pulled out of banks as I did not understand the economics well enough. Why is it doing well or bad? I did well with REACH - got free shares too! Can't grumble so far! Great investment.
MEDIA is on the up...

Worth reiterating:
Daily Mail advertising figures out yesterday where ahead of market expectation.
As a result UK media companies share prices started to rise.

Buy now, took away until next June 2021 when we will have a boost to advertising with the football Euro's. Fans should be allowed in the stadiums by then, we will have a vaccine by this year end, start administrating it in first quarter of 2021.
Forget trading in and out, that is just gambling, some you, win most you lose. Or at least it was when I traded years ago. I'm not lucky enough, so learnt the hard way, invest for the mid to long term. JMO.

All thing being equal, this should drift up to 80p area by the 12th, when update comes out, then if good, mid 90s that day.

DAILY MAIL trading update this morning: "BETTER THAN EXPECTED" (Advertising revenue I guess up - read details here):

If newspaper advertising better than expected its a reasonable guess to suggest that TV advertising might be better than expected (but who knows - its by no means certain)

Key bit for ITV from Daily Mail update:
The performance has been helped by stronger than expected September profit
from:

· Consumer Media, which benefitted from advertising revenue being above
expectations; and .....

The Daily Mail has recovered most of the March fall (due to lockdown) but not its fall before feburary. ITV has yet to recover to March figures - its still miles down.

The Daily Mail has a PE ratio of 22. ITV about PE 6.

I have shares in REACH (Daily Mirror) - SHORTS are really panicing - its shooting up - Sorry guys..

SI: Thats horse racing speak (if only I bet on number three, so close I picked four).
You, like be, I guess, are betting on ITV coming out of covid (brexit is probably irrelevant) well... With huge demand for production, growing numbers for britbox and advertising recovering somewhat.
Should be trading at £1.20+ by spring (I'm investing in all my shares for SPRING 2021 - I have my reasons - day traders all have the word "mug" written over their foreheads )..
