08/10/2020 13:25 | NetOn the issue of value, once again your ramping posts only serve to show how clueless you really are.Yes I agree this is cheap, that's why I've invested here, is it on a lower rating than it should be, IMO yes again......but unlike you I'm not expecting this to match the market average, because it never will, why, because of its massive debt, pension deficit and reliance upon advertising income which during a recession takes a massive hit.......as will broadcasting if another full lockdown happens.Have you even looked at their accounts?, I doubt it, the net debt alone is equivalent to 19p per share, earnings H1 (after much adjustments) was down 53% to 2.9p, statutory eps was almost wiped out (-90%). Its 5 year eps growth is non existent (-3.7%). They have deferred £90m of their pension deficit payments thus far, yep £90m about 26% of forecast profit. You keep comparing this to the market as a whole as well as what has happened in the past but can't seem to grasp the fundamentals or what a realistic future is likely to look like. You only want to see positives as that fits your constant ramping. You keep slagging me off and I will retort with interest.Ps one other major red flag for me at WIN is that you are invested. | discodave45

08/10/2020 13:04 | I've never quite understood their "holding", as it looks like a series of put and call options and CDC's, together with the 9.9% Liberty holding? I'm not entirely sure how owning a call option, that you may or may not exercise, constitutes a holding? Whatever is going on it appears they are lightening up on these derivatives, and the share price is trending upwards. If the two are connected it perhaps shows the extent to which Goldman Sachs have been gaming the share price. All speculation of course, but I'd love to understand exactly what they've been doing these last few years. | alex1621

08/10/2020 12:34 | its a real pity you put so much effort into something that will not affect the share price for a long timethis is slater level idiocy | stansmith3
08/10/2020 12:22 | I'm pleased to see todays RNS that Goldman Sachs have released further shares in ITV, their holding now stands at 13.05%, it stood at 21% not so long ago. Not forgetting that GS hold 9.9% on behalf of Liberty Global. The big question is who has GS off loading the shares over 8% in a few weeks to? | nige co
08/10/2020 12:05 | From Wikipedia: On October 6 2020, it was announced that Soumya Sriraman would depart as BritBox US and Canada's President, following the announcement that BritBox had reached 1.5 million subscribers in the US and Canada. The North American service, was reported to exceeded all company targets and, according to Parks Associates OTT tracker remains the fastest-growing targeted standalone SVOD service to have launched within the last three years.[39][14] yes it does say: On October 6 2020 | netcurtains
08/10/2020 12:00 | From Wikipedia (concerning Britbox) BBC Studios said the streaming service "went from strength to strength, reaching 1.2 million subscribers in North America after year-end to become the fastest-growing targeted SVOD service."[15][16] This is before Spitting Image | netcurtains

08/10/2020 11:12 | GS upgraded this morning, I can't see it anywhere but at the same time yet another RNS just now with their holding reduced from 13.86% to 13.05 %. BANDITS !!! | ivanborsky

08/10/2020 10:47 | We may see some dips on ITV as things move on, but it only needs some positive news coming in to see the share price rise to somewhere nearer to the 162p in January. ITV were gaining good strength back in January and along comes this virus to stop it in it's tracks. Given that the rout was fairly severe back in March and then again about six weeks ago when the share price fell to 54p, the market has strengthened putting 37% on the share price to 76p this morning. Big percentage rises happen frequently when the share price hit a an almost 10 year low, so some positive news from the board in the next report would be a terrific boost. Until then, buy on the dips. | jacko07
08/10/2020 10:36 | ITV News is proving an oasis of calm and politeness...and some happy news; farewell BBC news, the dreadful Laura, continuous pessimism and carping!Even Robert Peston makes me laugh! | fhmktg

08/10/2020 10:11 | Prefer Netflix and Amazon Prime myself. Have all the old British classics from 70's/80's on DVD so certainly not going to pay to watch them on Britbox! Only time I watch ITV or BBC is when they have the rugger on. | geckotheglorious
