01/3/2024 14:05 | Quimmy Saville is back I see I took a long a long at 58 this week but will look to off load around 70p Dame Woke has destroyed shareholder value for years. When she is booted out the share price will rise 25p/50p over a few months. | ![]() ny boy

01/3/2024 13:43 | They better be cancelling the shares. If they are not cancelling the shares, then why bother buying back the shares? The obvious. So the board can sell down the treasury shares to pay for employees shares and bonuses! | smurfy2001
01/3/2024 13:18 | I think this is just the start of positive news and a share price re-rating. And with only around 10% of shares in general public hands it will take institutional selling to allow ITV to buy back the amount they say without rocketing the share price. Buy backs don’t always work but then it’s not often a company buy back 10% of their shares whilst also paying 9% dividend. I hold a not insignificant 556,000 shares and they won’t get mine for less than a quid. | trikytree
01/3/2024 13:09 | Now you must seriously question next revenues from advertising This will continue tanking from here | ![]() vlad the impaler

01/3/2024 13:07 | Dame McCall appointed ITV CEO Jan 2018 Share price 180p Shares are now worth just one third! Annual pay for the Dame = £4M including bonuses! Bonuses for what exactly? Trashing the share price? Should be FINED and better SACKED instead. Netflix stock has TREBLED during her tenure. | ![]() justiceforthemany
01/3/2024 13:06 | No surprise , the price level they had to produce something to stall the collapse it sinks in what little value 250M is here, soon sub 60 again Maybe today | ![]() vlad the impaler
01/3/2024 13:00 | It will be interesting to see what mechanism they use for buy-back - tender or on-market purchase - and whether they will cancel the bought-in shares or hold then in treasury. The maximum benefit to the company would be derived by minimising the purchase cost and the maximum future flexibity by holding in treasury for potential use in quick bolt-on acquisitions. A tender offer might produce the lowest cost to the company and more rapidly clear some of the the overhang caused by urgent liquidators which appears to be part of the current price depression across the market. | ![]() boadicea
01/3/2024 12:47 | I imagine it would be UK Listed Shares including AIM - that would make sense and would be too difficult to distinguish overseas Companies listed in London, although there aren't probably that many. Anyway Shell's HQ is in London :- Shell plc is a British multinational oil and gas company headquartered in London. Shell is a public limited company with a primary listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and secondary listings on Euronext Amsterdam and the New York Stock Exchange. | ![]() isis
01/3/2024 12:33 | After the short term profit takers have been shaken off, looking at 70p by close of play, 90p by Easter, and goldfingers forecast of a takeover well in excess of a quid by June. GLA. | ![]() jonnybig
01/3/2024 12:22 | Cheers for the update, goldfinger, much appreciated! 👍 | ![]() jonnybig
01/3/2024 12:18 | Further, if there are interested parties and an offer has been touted that MUST be disclosed as it is price sensitive information, as per UK takeover code. Can't be kept hidden or there will be even more trouble ahead for the board and CEO. | ![]() justiceforthemany
01/3/2024 12:12 | Goldfinger, if there was a bid, what do you think a bid would start at, 100p or more? | ![]() royston6
01/3/2024 12:04 | justiceforthemany. Do you know that for a fact? If so, interesting what they will define as a UK company? Anything listed on the LSE? Even multinationals, such as Shell? | ![]() huckers
