03/12/2022 11:16 | My understanding was that France wanted nuclear to be included as renewable energy where Germany didn’t. Think they have both agreed to compromise now and include it to produce green hydrogen. May be wrong | grahamwales
02/12/2022 23:54 | Some background, from late last year: | gimmethefax
02/12/2022 23:38 | "As for the UK, the additionality is not a mandatory requirement under the Low Carbon Hydrogen Standard. Instead, additionality is weighted at 5% of a project’s overall score when applying for government support. The reasoning for such a low weighting is to avoid the kind of difficulties being experienced on the continent. The UK’s approach is not perfect but it does give it the regulatory certainty that green hydrogen investors are looking for." | gimmethefax
02/12/2022 23:21 | Those who are proposing the rules are also the ones who proposed the Hydrogen Strategy to begin with, right? Would you make rules that prevented you from playing your own game? Am I understanding the macro-situation correctly? Honestly? I wouldn't be suprised if things were intentionally delayed by the 'bureaucrats', just long enough to cause just the right amount of chaos and suffering to incentivise global CBDC adoption and Social Credit scoring, ... but that's just silly isn't it. Isn't it? | gimmethefax
02/12/2022 23:10 | Were the shorters predicting much stricter rules, all but seeing an end to renewable hydrogen in Europe..? Is this what they have been loading up on, in anticipation of devastating news to the EU Hydrogen Agenda...? Blackrock would know something like this, well in advance, surely? I am not sure the proposals actually help at all, but they must propose something - and they could be much worse; moreover, it shows that Hydrogen isn't going anywhere - expect delays at worst. None of this says, "Hydrogen is the fuel of the future, and always will be" It is being legislated before the eyes of the shorter - yet, they short. Short-termists. Lots of pertinent information in the Draft, in relation to our previous topic of discussion about Electrolyser Utilisation and Grid Connection. Must digest this properly when the Final Draft is released, 15 December. Share thoughts. | gimmethefax
02/12/2022 22:53 | Cr: GW "The draft of the delegated act on hydrogen additionality can be read below:" Read the draft. What's your thoughts? | gimmethefax
02/12/2022 22:52 | Thanks, Graham. Investors should be reading this stuff. | gimmethefax
02/12/2022 15:52 | Long-awaited EU rules on renewable hydrogen expected 15 Dec. Seems hydrogen can be produced from all types of electricity using electrolysers. Should be great news for manufacturers. | grahamwales
