06/12/2022 10:01 | Just saw late orders that were filled yesterday Ended up a net 187K shares borrowed | vlad the impaler
06/12/2022 09:59 | Norbus The SOFC is not the same as an alkali unit. It is the same technology as Ceres. It requires a continuous input of very high temperature to operate (the article refers to 850C. That needs to come from a continuously operating plant e.g. petrochem or a baseload power station that has a high temperature waste gas offtake than can be run through the electrolyser. It is possible the RWE are using the one site to test all three technologies in parallel and that the SOFC unit is small due to limitations on the volume of the high temperature offtake to power it. SOFC is not efficient in an on/off mode - you do not want to go from ambient temperature to 850C and back very often - quite hard on the kit. | bmel
06/12/2022 09:57 | You still haven’t mentioned what shorters may be targeting…R | vlad the impaler
06/12/2022 09:56 | Good point on the SOEC, rather than alkaline, I missed that. and it states: "the company is testing various electrolysis technologies, including Sunfire's highly efficient high-temperature electrolysis." So, hopefully, soon. However, While I remain confident long-term, and even mid-term, something ugly does seem to be occuring, or maybe it has occured and that was our lot... no idea, and shorters think not. Near Silence, still. Deferred updates (fair enough?). Tweets from Cooley, highlighting delayed FIDs, due to slow EU policy. No Shell FID. No 4MW Lingen yet. No update on Leuna. No update on Yara. No update on Oyster - while Plug have deployed the first offshore electrolyser. No update on Tooling. Removal of the GEP from public view. ...etc... Still, silence and deferral. Another thing that I also can't ignore, is that the other manufacturers aren't exactly throwing up MW after MW of equipment either. I am ITMs biggest fan - but I'd like to think that I am also not stupid. Just my grumpy morning thoughts. DYOR of course. | gimmethefax
06/12/2022 09:43 | Does it matter? I don’t think so | vlad the impaler
06/12/2022 09:42 | The article still saying it’s a trial so ITM unit must be close to being delivered. | grahamwales
06/12/2022 09:40 | Why do many investors insist on fighting market with own beliefs ? It’s a round 1 knockout every time | vlad the impaler
06/12/2022 09:39 | Morning all “Vlad Glory” once again 😂 | vlad the impaler
06/12/2022 09:37 | Cooley is a long necked c@nt stuck his neck too high and proud but didn't eat any low lying fruit | moontheloon
06/12/2022 09:32 | Is SOFC not a different type of electrolysis system from the 14MW Alkaline offering? There was nothing amiss with MEP 1.0. Cooley reminds me of a cartoon of a Giraffe that tries to jump a chasm too wide, and is left hanging by its chin on the other side | norbus
06/12/2022 09:26 | GW "As the first electrolyzer on site, the Dresden-based electrolysis manufacturer Sunfire delivered a 250 kW (kilowatt) system to Lingen." We mustn't laugh. We must ask why. It also shows that ITM Power have not got their 4 MW kit set up yet either. At least sunfire will now be carrying out their part of the comparison test - while ITM remain absent. | gimmethefax
06/12/2022 09:20 | Reckon so eventually. If you want a lot of the kit you're gonna have to attract the kit | moontheloon
06/12/2022 09:15 | Looks like Western Australia are going to incentivise companies to produce Hydrogen there, wonder if the same will apply to building an electrolyser factory there. | grahamwales
06/12/2022 09:05 | They were gonna drop it today. The ups and downs till we have news of some sort of direction | moontheloon
06/12/2022 08:55 | Once again market makers dropping it on no volume lol | grahamwales
06/12/2022 08:03 | ADVFN = Need money? Male an OpenOffer | norbus
05/12/2022 21:37 | U.s sector well down.. thanks to fed policy (potential) | moontheloon
05/12/2022 20:21 | As it was a trial maybe they've cut sunfires alkaline? | moontheloon
05/12/2022 20:05 | Does this mean the ITM unit is about to be installed. | grahamwales
05/12/2022 20:00 | Sunfire was supposed to supply 10mw unit pmsl yet only supplying 250kw. The pilot electrolyser will have an initial capacity of 14 megawatts (MW), making it one of the largest facilities of its kind in Germany from the outset. RWE aims to use the trial facility to test two electrolyser technologies under industrial conditions: Dresden manufacturer Sunfire will install a pressure-alkaline electrolyser with a capacity of 10 MW for RWE. In parallel, Linde, a leading global industrial gases and engineering company, will set up a 4 MW proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser. RWE will own and operate the entire site in Lingen. | grahamwales
05/12/2022 20:00 | Hydrogen in gas pipelines: Snam successfully concludes turbine tests. | sonic25
05/12/2022 19:49 | I thought ITM had sold a 4mw unit for this site. 250kw sounds bloody small. Where is the ITM unit. | grahamwales
05/12/2022 19:01 | Update delayed till January Imo is terrible news Giving themselves more time to get out of trouble I’d presume Just finishing a diorama of a man stark naked apart from rainbow socks on his chest I’ve painted I love linde He’s upside down with his head stuck in a toilet. Can’t decide if to call dr cool heads into oblivion or Nob first. Already turned down nice offers but I’m giving it to my ex neighbor for Xmas It was him who told me sell while u can. | 5barney |
