The shares are buried in an old TD Waterhouse account.

Sparty, yes you did have a vote. Mine are held in a Nominee account, but there was a message under Corporate Actions on their website and it allowed me to vote online on each resolution.

"For mandatory corporate actions, which are events where there's no choice offered to shareholders, we won't send any letters. We took a business decision not to send letters for these events because there's no action required from shareholders"

am i missing something here..?

Did we as IVE shareholders have a vote or not??? even if those shares were held in a nominee account...

Don't worry. Once you've bought an envelope and a stamp you'll be back in negative equity again anyway. :D

I've already claimed a tax loss from the IR on my holdings. so if these become worth anything that's more bloody paperwork to fill in ;~{

My shares are held in a nominee account so I won't be receiving a call from Alex. But how I'd love the opportunity to tell him just where they could shove their f++king new company.

Likewise. I had already returned my proxy voting form prior to the receiving the call from Alex, and nothing he said changed my mind.

I hold my IVE shares directly (not via a nominee account) and am listed on the shareholder register, which is why they had my phone number and were able to call me.

If there's more to the story they should put an update on the website or should have put more detail on the PDF. As it stands, on the information I had, I've voted against.

PS They have my email address from those forms they sent a while back. A mail shot would have cost them nothing.

I was also called by Alex, but took what was said with a large pinch of salt. It seems to me they are worried about getting enough votes and are trying to drum up support.

There are resolutions for the re-election of the existing directors who retire by rotation at the AGM. If they were intending to resign following the AGM, why bother to go for re-election?

I also have had a call from Alex who told me that the current directors will
resign after the AGM. I am happy to give the new team a chance and they will
have my support.

I had a call last night from someone called Alex at Irvine who seemed very excited about Friday, so me personally, I will be voting in favour, I just don't see what there is to lose.

Can any tell me if my understanding is correct? We will have 1 new share for every 200, I understand that. But we do not know what each new share will be worth? What is to stop a multi-million pound company reversing in here and the shares floating at ...for example 1p, 10p, £1?

Anyway, I shall be watching closely on Friday.

I do wish you all good luck
