I can just ignore any comments about me.

I forecast a placing at 0.3p in January 2022 when all the bulls were talking about 2p to 5p.

Enough said. Mike drop.

Yes, there's nothing much more to be said Al, every possible negative in the history of the planet has been mentioned in the past couple of days as either being a fait accompli or at least a very real possibility to envelope Ironveld's project in a blanket of catastrophe.

Yes, we have many very real issues without making up any additional ones but I certainly believe there's money to be made at these levels and whether the share price moves today, tomorrow, next week or next month makes no difference to me at all as I'll be here until I hit break even or make a profit. If the worst happens (which it won't as we are now funded) then so be it, It will be my decision and won't be anyone else to blame.

As such, Recovery and Pat are flogging a dead horse I'm afraid if they think they're going to influence anyone to sell out at 0.30 range, especially when most of the risk and downside has already been priced in.

Good luck to all honest and sincere posters.....

I think I'm going to restrict my posts here for while.

On the one hand I don't want to feed the troll by posting any bearish thoughts I may have on Ironveld, on the other, I don't feel I can honestly represent what I think by only posting the positives.

So better that I mostly shut up.

I might still call out RS occasionally as and when I find it entertaining... but he's resorted to African history, climate change and watching trades so he can have at it as far as I'm concerned.

The reason the shareprice hasn't reacted is because there's nothing much to react too in that RNS, don't really know why that's so difficult to work out, but our resident Winnie the Pooh appears to think differently.

I am so disappointed with you guys today and I guess I have to take the blame with my penchant for adult discussion. But today is better than Christmas and even though we know exactly what is coming we can all still be kids at Christmas can't we? Christmas comes regular as clock work every year, but we have been waiting for this news every year since 2014, there have been so many false dawns, but the sun is up today!

So where are all the childish posts oohing and aarhing over every trade? Where are all the posts trying to out do each other on how ridiculous a price prediction they can come out with for the share price next week, next month, next year, next decade? Where are all the see you at the 10p party posts?

I did not bite to see if we could get a look at how many CF have bought, they know what they are doing post - had a couple of hints but nobody dared say it because you know it is just CF's clients who have taken part in the placing aggregating up to notifyable. With the placing and broker option being about 55% of the enlarged share capital there should be a few more of them over the coming days. It is still good news for the wave riders though. At least you will get the TR1s as they drop back down through the % points.

Not a ripple and not even a party popper from you lot.

Last trade 1m sell at 0.3015 - that ain't much of a profit to be taking on a deeply discounted placing.

Ok so how far is it from the farm to the smelter? Could those primary school kids recover from their shell shock by putting some ore in their napsacks and walking it to the smelter to save us some cash?

Ace,

The news LADESIDE and I have been waiting for ever since the 2014 DFS, which at the time I was expecting to see in early 2015 so I would be invested in a cash generative miner by end of 2015 and see all those great figures in the PFS in 2019 has arrived today. Ok it is only half the size, but from little acorns and all that. I gave up trying to ride the waves, as I was not very good at it. So please someone explain why there has, so far, not been a single tiny ripple on the pond?

Please don't say it has anything to do with me posting - we have already proved nobody pays any attention to those.

LADESIDE,

Where is that share price bounce once the smelter deal was done and refurbishment underway?

Some of us are just passing the time in idle adult conversation whilst waiting for those who ride the waves of sentiment to explain it to us.

The only potential bright spot for SA is for all those years when it could not buy oil cheaply, it used its massive coal reserves and could do again. However it has been sucked in by the whole climate change thing:

.
"The Bill aims to (i) provide for a coordinated and integrated response to climate change, (ii) provide for the effective management of climate change impacts, (iii) make a fair contribution to the global effort to stabilise greenhouse gas (“GHG”) concentrations, (iv) ensure a just transition towards a low carbon economy and society, (v) give effect to South Africa’s international commitments and obligations in relation to climate change, and (vi) protect and preserve the planet for the benefit of present and future generations of humankind."

What does the rich white elite who peddle this fear mongering on the precautionary principle and belief in obviously flawed data and models think of what SA is doing?

"South Africa overall rating - insufficient"

The South African government has set a new and stronger 2030 target range, but domestic policies and their successful implementation will need an additional boost to meet it. The new target represents a significant change compared to the previous target, providing a good example on how governments can increase their mitigation ambition over time. Despite being a step in the right direction, the updated target is not yet Paris Agreement compatible.

Uncertainty on the successful implementation of the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP2019) continues to remain high, given state-owned utility giant Eskom’s unresolved financial and operational problems and the government’s mixed messages on the transition to zero carbon electricity system."

If the BS COVID models from shagger Ferguson shafted us, the climate change nuts are raping the hell out of the developing world.

The double act are working overtime today and both seem to have ignored both RNS's, obviously hoping that their rantings deflect attention.

I wonder why.....

RS. Absolutely. The energy, food, legitimacy crisis engulfing South Africa will make any planning and execution in business more and more difficult. I do not expect anything but a new cash crisis as IRON in a years time.

patt,

Mandela was a great man - one of the greatest ever in my book. Without him SA is just sliding deeper and deeper into the mire. I doubt it will become as bad as Zimbabwe (bread basket of Africa to basket case of Africa) but it is heading in that direction. Power cuts increasing in duration and frequency don't help, but with the global energy crisis making it twice as bad I fear the worst. Such a shame as it is still such a beautiful country with a lot of great resources, but it is just getting harder and harder to do business there.

All comes under the generic heading of jurisdictional risk for those interested in investing based on risk reward balance.

It's hard to get a word in edgeways, Recovery. However, regarding today's news, I will only say that I'm surprised (not really) that such a super-sleuth, double masters, veteran stock researcher such as yourself, failed to notice/mention 164650000 shares being bought.Probably doesn't fit in with the cone-head narrative. Thanks for the tip about using Google as a research tool, though. Priceless.

What no comment on the big news today and the market reaction to it? Surely BBs should be filled with posts oohing and aahing over every trade?

The train ride to London tomorrow is not going to be fun. I hope the meeting room is air conditioned.

Up to 11 trades now except 2 are some sort of roll over / bed and ISA/SIPP.

How strange I am fairly sure there are people who have shares at 0.3p who are waiting for the spike to hit the sell button and those Broker warrants are there to provide an extra £1.125m but only if the share price spikes enough.

Hmm how long before those 0.3p sellers are prepared to take less than what they paid because they have better things to do with their money?

Guessing future share prices is not my forte which is why I gave it up and went for investing on risk / rweard balance.

Whatever the anticipated timings you can double them as it is, well, Africa and that means delays. The net receipts from the placing were £4.2m. By the time the refurb and down payment are made totalling £4m there is nothing left. All that will happen is that there will be another Director loan and we have a rinse and repeat. This is an elephant trap of value. Just my view.

Hmm, does not seem to be many hitting the buy button in early trades - 5 showing so far, 2 marked as sells but could be buys as it is worked out by which price (bid or offer) it is closest to.

I wonder why. Has everyone lost faith in this company?

Direct quote from one recent RNS (can't remember which - there have been so many but I have directly quoted it a number of times in my posts - DYOR to find the RNS)

"Once the acquisition and refurbishment of the smelter have been completed, FIRST product sales and cashflows are expected within 12 months".

Another one from another RNS - DYOR to find it - it is recent.

"Mining of ore can commence within six weeks of completion of the Acquisition and ore will be stockpiled at the smelter complex whilst the furnace refurbishment is taking place. Ironveld intends to use mining contractors on site to minimise capital expenditure and will also use community-based transportation companies to transport ore from the mine to the smelter complex."

Can both be true? Massive working capital requirement and enough landowners paid off.

Or is one a misreprensentation in breach of AIM rule 10 - the company has established a track record for that with the Grosvenor has no money omission.

The trouble with misrepresenting, is you have to remember all the misrepresentations so you don't then contradict yourself.

I feel an update on the landowner situation is urgently required by the market if anyone is to have any faith that this company will, for once, do what it says it will.

The answer to my question was 165km squared.

How big are the village communities with the same name as the farms (ie the ones that may have been consulted)?
